Ok i'm sure i speak for everyone here when Randy Moss caught that TD with 0:01 left in the 4th quarter that we were about to watch a monumental Jets collapse. However, Brett Favre proved doubters (myself included) wrong and marched us down the field with an "all or nothing" attitude. The same old Jets don't convert the 3rd and 15 pass to Keller The same old Jets don't make a FG with the game on the line The same old Jets don't win in OT against the PATS Enjoy it guys
Today is a great day to be alive being a NYJETS fan. Same old Jets are no more. WE have a team and a dam good one at that..........
this fanbase will be looked at as a bunch of whiny losers until everyone let's go of that saying. hopefully that'll be soon
Not in '98 when we wnet into 1st place NE and beat them on MNF? or when we went down to Miami in a 1st place showdoen and beat them on a Sunday Night? or 6 days later when we went into Buffalo and clinched the div? or when we reached the Title Game? Now against a beat up Brady-less Pats team same old jets is gone forever?hmy:
The "Same old Jets" go into a prevent defense and hands the opposition the perfect opportunity to tie the game. The "Same old Jets" run the ball into the pile when they need 2 yds to clinch a win. The "Same old Jets" never plays in the 3rd qtr. The "Same old Jets" still can't counterpunch when the opposition makes changes.. Do you want to read more????
every team plays like that in stretches during games, save maybe 2 or 3 teams in the league. The "same old Jets" are long gone.
It's football. Injuries happen. Beating the Pats is an accomplishment, especially when they lost 11 of their last 12 against them.
Yes...yes they are...notice how those perennial title contenders tend to change every few years...you're not fucking born champs you fucking work for it. This franchise, coaching staff, and team have done nothing but put in the work it takes to make this team a serious contender. And the sad thing is it's own fucking fan base refuses to buy it. Can't really blame it on the fans though...thats just how sports tend to work.
Amen brother. Darksiders are not willing to recognize the amazing history that the Jets are about to write. It's very sad.
This franchise, coaching staff, and team hasn't done shit yet as far as being remotely considered title contenders. Until this franchise learns how to coach and play consistently at a high level, its fan base would be fools to buy into anything less. The other side of the coin is, every franchise needs a hardcore group of fans. Someone has to buy the overpriced tickets and merchandise. "Pay the freight" so to speak. "True Fans" indeed only need faith. The rest of us need results..
Isn't this a bit of a time paradox??? How can one write a "history" that hasn't happened yet? You can have another sip of koolaid. I'll believe it when I see it actually this "history" happen on the field and not before..
