Sutton blows, prevent defense, Keller's drop, 24-6, a Jets-like win......
    .........
    .........

I have an idea -- Until Monday, November 17th, there shall be no pessimism from anyone. No "I hate this," nothing about the Coaching Staff, nothing about Favre, nothing about Sutton (that includes me, but the sig stays:)) nothing about anyone. Enjoy 1st place. Rest. Get ready for Tennessee in 10 days, because that is an even bigger test.

So no complaining, no attacking each other or the team or organization.... enjoy today, tomorrow and Sunday. And then on Monday we'll resume and do what we do best..... hate the team we love.

See your pissed off self on monday - until then, enjoy.

This thread might have an ounce of credibility if you didn't have a retarded Fire Bob Sutton message in your sig.

    lol...good catch....

Anyway, too late...I have already said fire that fat f*ck who thinks he can coach in the NFL. He lost his job as a ball boy once, that should have given him the hint.

I'm thrilled, we beat the Pats on the road and are in first place. There is nothing to be upset about after a win like that.

I just think it is retarded all these fire everyone with the team in first place and coming off the biggest win in forever. I also think if you really wanted the board rid of pessimism you would rid yourself of the sig, calling to fire the first place CS.

I love how the focal point is a sig thats been there for almost as long as i've been on the board.

its the content of the posts not the BS in the sig. Its not going anywhere.

I totally agree. Let's enjoy this win for at least a few days. Just think of Belicheat's face in the press conference. That alone will keep me smiling for at least a week.

I dunno. I think many of you guys are congenitally unable to pull that off, think happy thoughts for three days straight. You might explode or something. I'd probably hear the chain reaction all the way out here. Global warming process would be accelerated by 3 years.

    I agree.

One thing we all need to keep in mind is how well the Pats' replacements played. Man they are one deep team. I wasn't sure how their younger players would play, and how well Cassell would do the second time against the Jets. We should not be surprised they all did quite well.

Yet, the Jets went in there and beat them. This is Great!

A win on the road against a team like that? Yep, no pessimism.

Pats do have some medium term issues, though. How do they keep Cassell with Brady coming back? Vrabel can still play, but he's not the dominant force he has been before. And Moss was sure not playing flat out all game. Despite that, I would not say this loss means their time has past. They will still be a force, and have the best shot to make the playoffs of the other teams in this division.

This post exactly mirrors my feelings today. See, we can agree on some things.

We won. That's all I care about today. We're in first place. Alone. Undefeated on the road in the division.

You're absoluely right about the Pats being deep. Wow, they truly are. I kept thinking all night "Is there anyone on this team who isn't elevated to Pro-Bowl talent by wearing that uniform?"

This is what I've been saying all along...

Now, I'm not a spiritual guy, but hear me out. I believe that if you send out good vibes; your team can "feel it". Do you know how difficult it was posting on this forum going into overtime, trying to tell you all that it's not over. If you're pessimistic about the game, I think that those bad vibes you send out; they have an affect. Be positive and watch the Jets win!

That was one of the top 10 moments of life. He honestly wanted to cry. I'm convinced.
