    God.. Damn... Don... Banks...

I'm posting this in the main forum because we play the Pats this week. You can find another Patriot Blowjob scribed by Don Banks in the NFL forum. Don Banks is on my assassination list for true gems such as this one here...

From SI.com, BTW, who've really been giving ESPN a run for their money in journalistic excellence.

Yeah, douche- I'd be shocked. FUCKING SHOCKED. Can this chode really not recognize the paper tiger that is the 2008 New England Patriots season?! No Thomas, no Harrison, no Brady, no Maroney. Ditto rookies Wheatley and Crable. "Would any of us really be shocked..." RAAAARGH!

Christ on a cracker, WHO HAS THIS TEAM BEATEN?! The Chiefs, arguably one of the worst teams in football, one. The totally raw Jets, two. The 49er's, arguably one of the worst teams in football, three. The Broncos, arguably the worst defense in the league, four. The Rams, arguably one of the worst teams in football, five. Overrated Buffalo at home, six.

Minus us, who fucking rock, combined record of teams New England has beaten? 15-30.

Combined record of the teams that have beaten New England- Miami, Indy and San Diego? 14-13. One of those teams has a losing record.

You know what? I'm rooting for Miami this week, just for the hell of it. You know why? Because I want to see back-to-back divisional smackdowns of this sorry-ass, media-darling phantom of a contender.

And then I want to see Don Banks jump ship like the drowning rat he is.

    Go... Mother... Fucking... JETS!

its really sad that Banks can't let it go.

What is he going to do when the Pats success ends and they slip into mediocrity. It happens to every team.

    Hopefully alcoholism.

The Pats had the easiest schedule coming into the season anyway.

It could be worse. Much worse. Take away an Asante Samuel interception drop, or the Manning escape, or the Tyree catch and the Patriots are 19-0. Had Brady not gone down they might even be 9-0 right now and we'd be slitting our wrists as everyone would be talking about back to back 19-0. They can have their pipe dream.. or is it?

Patriots winning games in the playoffs cause they get every bounce of the ball, challenge, and zebra their way wouldn't surprise me

I'd be more surprised if the Jets made it, to be honest.

Given the mortal play of Moss lately, Cassell still learning the ropes and the injuries on defense, I'd be very surprised.

The AFC playoffs are certainly going to be interesting this year. The Titans are the only "dominant" team based on record and no one believes in them. I don't think I'd be shocked if any of the .500+ teams made it to the Super Bowl this year, except maybe the Dolphins.

If it makes you feel any better I don't expect you guys to make it past the first round. Assuming you get to the playoffs.

I'm hoping that the Giants ended the era of the Patriots. Suddenly they seem human. Including Tom Brady who never could get hurt prior to this year.

They did end Pats era. It's a new time, era, season, month, week, and day in the NFL. It's wide open; we're the best team in the AFCE as per the standings. F Brady and Belidick.
