As a physician, I can say with some certainty that this infection didn't happen because he chose his own doctors per se. I know the pats are reportedly upset about that, but infections are a known risk from any surgical procedure. There's no reason to presume Brady went to crappy doctors.
This report was really a no-brainer. All the reports coming from the sports networks claimed that the timing of the injury was probably the best news of this whole scenario. Surgery at the beginning of this season would give Brady ample time to rehab and be back as close to 100% by the beginning of next season. The infections have set that time table back. So he will not be back on the field by the beginning of the season. However, if he appears to be ready to go, I still think it will take a good half a season for him to really feel comfortable. It took a while for McNabb, Culpepper and Palmer to bounce back strongly after the injury and surgery, so I'm not expecting Brady to truly return to form until maybe middle but most likely late in the season next year.
What the hell are you talking about? Is this the article you were referencing? http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/articles/2008/11/11/infection_slows_bradys_rehab/ Because if so, you just completely pulled that conclusion out of your ass. Yes, he has a staph infection and it will probably delay his recovery a bit. But it doesn't say anywhere in the article that he might be out for 2009. It's not impossible, but there's nothing that indicates he "might be out" in a way that suggests people who are close to the situation think it is probable.
Just to be morally decent I will wish Brady luck but its hard to feel sorry for a millionaire who bangs super models.
It would be a blow. But he is overrated, always has been. If he is finished, at least we won't have to guys like King and Francesa suck his dick anymore.
maybe he'll miss the first couple of games in 09...but he won't be out the entire season. He is way behind on his rehab though.
Why worry about next season? Worry about winning on Thursday night. I gonna drink to the fact we are able to sit in first place with a win. Brady or no Brady. Life goes on, deal with it. Sure New England isn't crying about Harris being out. Injuries and surgeries are part of football.
he will come in to start the 2nd half with the patsies down 17-7 and lead them to a 28-24 victory.... haha
