wow, you guys are way over reacting to this game. Our season isnt over if we lose thursday. I would be all with you if the season ended on Friday morning and we had to win to get it, and if we lost we were done. But we arent at a do or die point yet. Yeah I want to win this game just as bad as the next fan. I also have a rediculously good feeling about thursday, but now its time to take a step away from the bullets, it's time to put faith in these guys even with a loss, I will have faith they can get it done with Favre at the helm until we are officially eliminated from postseason contention.
€ tout le monde € tout mes amis Je vous aime Je dois partir These are the last words I'll ever speak And they'll set me free
Football is great because it is a roller coaster sport with emotions that fly all over the place. Consistently losing to a hated division rival is a big deal in this game. For the sake of Jets fans sanity this game is a MUST WIN!!!
Knowing this team as I do, we will lose the next two, win the subsequent four and it will be all on the line vs. the Dolphins for a playoff spot in the last game of the year. Jets vs. Pennington, Sporano Yr. 1 vs. the success in Magini's first year, Parcells getting over the hump he couldn't get over in 1997 with the Jets in his first year, yada yada yada. All that said, it's time to win one. If the stars have ever been aligned, it's now.
That's the only way I watch any JETS game. For the record boys, it's "Wine is fine but liquor is quicker" Sheesh!
...and in a sk twist of fate that only a jet fan can fully appreciate, 8 weeks after going jim jones for losing the pats game thursday night, we win the fucking super bowl.
That won't be possible around here. That's Winston's point. As early as two minutes after the final gun, Thomas Jones reverts back to being the biggest bum on the planet, Favre needs to retire, Gholston's name changes to Ghost-ston and Mangini needs to be fired for hiring Ty Law. The entire O-line is way over-rated, our wide receivers suck, Ferguson was the worst pick we've ever made, Keller has gotten too big for his britches and Leon needs to "man up" and start running more north-south. Bob Sutton wears womens panties, Rhodes' INTs the other day were lucky picks, Calvin Pace is a has-been, Alan Faneca needs a barber and Nick Mangold is no pro-bowler because he complains too much about a little back pain. And Brian Schottenheimer was seen emerging from a restroom stall on the NJ Turnpike after tapping his foot to the tune, "I feel like a woman." Need I go on? The whole world as we know it comes to an end if we don't win this game.
Read the title it says for "Die Hard" Jets fans you my friend... Arent one. We lose im going to the bronx zoo and locking myself in the lions den...
Im not sure if this is the biggest game since 98 denver but i am sure this is the biggest game of the mangini era. I am a naturally a negative jet fan as is everybody who is a real jets fan. Saying that, I am feeling rather confident about this game. The patriots have had their time over the past years as the jets have not. This year is our time. Brady is gone, the pats are beat up and the jets went out, signed a number of FA, acquired favre and are now in the place to take sol possesion of the AFC east. This is what we were all hoping for this season. This is our game to win, it is our time to take control of this division for once. Let us pray! by the way im in
dude..... we'll be glad to provide a chick for a post game victory dance, however, if we lose we're sending the best looking goat from johnsons farm. jil
