http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d80c6149c&template=with-video-with-comments&confirm=true The final Week 12 NFL schedule was announced on Monday with the originally scheduled Indianapolis at San Diego Sunday night game on NBC remaining in place. The only game time change is the Carolina at Atlanta game on Sunday, Nov. 23 moving from 1 p.m. ET to 4:15 p.m. ET on FOX. Carolina leads the NFC South division with a 7-2 record. Atlanta is 6-3 following its 34-20 win over New Orleans on Sunday. The Falcons will play host to Denver next Sunday. The first flex schedule game time change occurred last week, when the Week 11 Tennessee-Jacksonville game was moved to 4:15 p.m. ET (on CBS). The NFL will utilize "flexible scheduling" on Sundays in Weeks 11-17. Flexible scheduling will ensure quality matchups in all NFL Sunday time slots in those weeks and give teams a chance to play their way onto primetime and into the late-afternoon 4:15 p.m. ET time slot on CBS and FOX. For each of the flexible scheduling weeks with the exception of Week 17, the NFL will announce the start times of games on Sundays no later than 12 days prior to that weekend. To ensure a Sunday night game and doubleheader games with playoff implications in Week 17, the flexible scheduling decision for that Sunday may be made on six days notice. So much for a decent Sunday Night game, they go for the names(LT & Manning) rather than teams(undefeated vs. possible #2).
To be fair though, SD vs IND as of now means battle of who the hell doesnt want to get eliminated(Or at least look to be in a deep hole)
True but you got to admit it's not the best match-up. I bet NBC wished these teams were 7-2 at least.
Someone on here mentioned that they might move the Broncos/Jets game to Sunday night due to the lack of "good games" scheduled for that week. Sun, Nov 30 (1pm & 4pm games) NO @ TB NYG @ WAS CAR @ GB MIA @ STL DEN @ NYJ BAL @ CIN SF @ BUF IND @ CLE ATL @ SD PIT @ NE KC @ OAK CHI @ MIN <- scheduled game for Sunday Night Football I see 3 games that have more implications (2 divisional) than the Jets/Broncos game. But that's just my opinion.
The casual fan would rather watch the "Names" :shit: Doesn't bother me. I prefer day games anyway :drunk:
For the week of the Jets/Broncos game (week 13) my guess is that the game will get moved to atleast 415 because as of now both jet and giant games are scheduled to play at 1 which can not happen and since CBS has the late game not Fox the Jet game will get moved to 415, it could be moved to 815, depending on what happens with thet Jets and Broncos on sunday.
