Screw Tony Wise, he could never get Dbrick and the rest of this line to open holes the way they have as well as pass block recently as well as they have. Callahan has really been a big part I think of why our line and running game is better, and i just hope it continues. I think D'brick is really on the right path, and he just needs one more year of top strength and conditioning like this offseason and i think he will really enter that top 5 all-pro tier. Thoughts?

I loved the hire when it happened, and I love it now. Billy C's specialty is where he's at right now, the OL. Its awesome to see domination in the trenches.

Question becomes: who would Mangini promote to OC the day when/if Schotty Jr. moves on? Callahan or Daboll?

i think due to Callahan's bad reps at OAK and Nebraska Daboll gets the nod. Plus Daboll has ties to Mangini's history.

Amazing how everybody here wants to give all of the credit to the coaches while ignoring the players. Don't you think Woody and Faneca have just a little to do with why this OL is so much better this year? I'm sure Jones does.

In no way am i trying to take away credit from woody, faneca, and jones. I feel like credit to these guys goes without saying. I'm just trying to show some love to a guy who people might forget, but i agree with you that woody and faneca deserve a little more credit. I think Jones is already getting a lot of love.

amazing how some people want to give no credit to the coaches and all of it to the players. it works both ways. the coaching helps a lot. and at the end of the day the players have to do what the coaches taught them.

I think Callahan might have some impact in time. Right now I think bringing in a couple of all-pros has a lot more impact. They have 4 first round picks on the OL. If anything we should probably have the best OL in football.

Amazing how you can't just appreciate Bill Callahan without bringing up something else and making it negative.

I'm never bringing you to a party, you'll bring the vibe down.

I was a Nebraska fan before I became a Jets fan and I have been a Jets fan since 1965 when they drafted Namath. It's easy not to appreciate Callahan.
