I'm pretty sure he was inactive. I'd really like to see him play, I missed all of preseason so he's completely unknown to me.
My only complaint is that the Flight Crew's cold weather uniforms are just as hideous as their warmer weather ones. Why do they have to dress like they're loading baggage at Kennedy Airport ?
I second this - they looked cute in the jumpsuits because of how awful they look in the diaper uniform.
Why doesn't anyone know the rule? Ratliff every game this season has been 3rd QB. That means he is on the inactive list, but per NFL rule, can play in case of injury or in the 4th quarter.
Absolutely nuthin! I can't even complain about the Flight Crew uniforms. They had on these Pilot-like Jumpsuits that kicked ass! Went in sync with Military appreciation...all in all a great day to be a Jets fan!
Here's one thing we can complain about. We left Jones and Favre in too long. Probably Mangold shouldn't have returned at all and our DL should have been rested too. We play in a few days and that rest could have made a huge difference because of it. Again, poor coaching decisions.
best play of the game was tj's 3rd td with the whole fn team pushing him in from behind. showed total team hustle, spirit, chemistry. loved it.
No way dude. I hated the warm weather uniforms, and criticized the women's looks too. I saw them at gate C on Sunday in these jumpers, I rescind it all. There are a few good looking women in the FC and the jumper makes their ass look good. Trust.
We didn't have a 40 point halftime lead in the Cards game and we weren't going to play again in 4 days. Stupid comparison by him. Or to put it another way, can you imagine what you would be reading now if Favre or Jones gut hurt while we were up 40 or 44 points? As it was it looks like Mangold was banged up pretty good.
I'd have liked to see Clemens play most of the second half. Have Brett play the first series in the 3rd quarter and then hang it up. It would have been a great opportunity to get some game reps for Kellen with the first team offense. I'd wish I could have seen him air out a few instead of just handing the ball to Leon every play. And it would have given old man Favre more rest on a short week.
Me too. One other criticism is the play Smith QB'd and missed the handoff. ? Ferguson's motion penalty. Mostly, though, the Jets played great. No mistakes, taking advantage of the other team's mistakes. Smart, efficient, but also pounding the other team in the fundamentals. Both lines played quite well. What are the Chad Fans saying about Favre today?
The missed handoff was intentional I thought. Sort of like the wildcat crap the phins run. Misdirection.
I really don't have anything to criticize after that game, the team showed up and dominated from the word 'Go'. Even when Coleman was unfortunately on the field, Sutton had the presence of mind to double whichever man he was defending. Hence the Kerry Rhodes INT. If Coleman was on his own for that play, it's a touchdown for the Rams. Almost every time they went after Coleman there was either a safety or another corner giving him help. I don't like them having to do that, but you have to play with who you have. I just don't like seeing his number called.
Hmmmmmm...... Lets see now. Being a Darksider, I'm sure I can come up with something.. Oh yeah, They should have had the damn Shutout!! When's the last time the Jets shut anybody out??? Dammit!!! I wanna shutout!!!! F'n Mangini and Sutton let the Rams kick a friggen FG. Ok, I'm all outta complaints!!! Guess I'll just have to enjoy the win and hope the same Jets team shows up next week.
