Revis can handle Moss.....take away the 5 yard dumps to welker and the underneath stuff....make this guy beat us deep.......that underneath crap just makes me sick

last game we kept blitzing and playing into the soft stuff.......not this time i bet

Honestly, I don't think we can stop that short stuff, unless we played a robber type D, with one of the safeties playing a hook-curl zone all game.

For all their strengths, our LBs stink in zone coverage, and are terrible at communicating routes and developments from player to player.

And I wouldn't dare put Revis on Welker, because Lowery on Moss would be a disaster.

It's gonna have to be a great push from Jenkins and company, and the entire DL is gonna have to get those hands up to disrupt those short routes...

Yeah, as much as I like Barton in the run game, he's horrible in pass coverage. Even today, he screwed up at least twice to give his responsibility big yards. Bowens is just as much a liability, too.

And at this point, I'd rather have Poteat starting over Lowery. The kid has been on a downward spiral since his promising start. All his talk about "taking up challenges and improving from them" has just been all talk so far.

Is it weird that Welker is the Patriot that scares me the most?

Not really, considering his specialty is the Jets' main weakness right now. The player that scares me the most for the game, oddly enough, is probably Brett Favre. If he starts turning the ball over, the Jets won't have a shot. He threw 2 near-picks right in the hands of defenders today...those will probably be taken back for points by the Patsies.

I would not put 8 in the box. Green-Ellis-Brown-Smith-Black-White doesn't impress me, id rather play tight on the outsides with safety help deep and let this dude try to run on our D-line

Don't worry Revis and Ty Law will shut down those 2 fuckers and Lowery will shut down their 3rd. I think Matt Cassel is in for a long and painful night. Just scared of their run game is all. I know we are 4th in run stopping or something like that, but I have a feeling this will be the true test for our run stopping D.

So play as an impenetrable defense? If your going to blitz, and cover deep, you really can't cover the underneath stuff, since the underneath stuff is where the blitzing linebackers would be filling..
