http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/2008-picks.htm Check out Skip Wood's preseason and midseason superbowl pics.........
Point was this guy picked Jets Packers superbowl with the packers winning before the season started and after midseason he still picked jets Packers superbowl but with Jets winning.
I would without a doubt cream my pants. Right now though, it looks like a COMPLETE longshot. Who knows though, stranger things have happened. I mean the Bears have made Orton look like a legitimate QB. I mean the Dolphins have made .... Ahh now I'm just being mean
A Jets-Packers Super Bowl would probably be the most hyped and talked about sporting event in history, no exaggeration.
I would have to think that the Steelers are probably the best team in the AFC right now. Certainly not San Diego and despite their record I am still not convinced that the Titans won't collapse.
You might be on to something. I watched my Pack take them to OT, and they (GB) didn't play all that good. I'm not saying I agree with collapse, just that they are definitely not invincible. I've really liked Pitts myself, but it seems like Big Ben is just getting more and more banged up each week .... Interesting thing is though, that at this point they are equally long shots. Who would have guessed that two months ago? I think if they do each get into playoffs, jets would have a clearer shot. I guess I just think the Giants are better than anyone in AFC, one loss or not.
Definitely in Cheeseland (Smell our dairy air!) You would probably have some people in WI (myself included?) just throw themselves off a bridge rather than choose a side in that game (or join a monastery in Tibet if you are less dramatic/more cowardly).
I don't think Jarrett Bell was awake for the mid-season exercise. He still has dallas and SD in the superbowl.
I really don't believe in Big Ben and he is the Pittsburgh offense right now. Not to mention the Pitt o-line is in rough shape. Tenn is the team to beat until, well, someone does.
Yahoo released their second half predictions as well. They have Miami beating the JETS in the season finale for the division title. Sounds a little story book to me.
At home coming off a big road win is a bigger argument for a fuckup than after a loss, btw. Especially when you have your biggest game of the season(so far) against New England next week. I.E The Sandwich/Breather theory
i hate that two of them picked the jets to be locks to win this week. i like to stay positive about the team, but they are never a lock to win anything.
Can we just make it out of this season alive with a wild card? That would be a good finish after hurling chunks vs. the Raiders. Yes, that game mattered.
He was the only one who took Denver this week... hmy: John Elw...I mean , Jay Cutler pilled it out for him.
