That's his new Rain Man slogan for the week, it doesn't matter what's actually happening.

The point is, Favre has proven he can take his teams far and he's a consistent winner. 1 losing season with Green Bay in 15 years? Yeah, Favre must be the luckiest QB ever to always have so much talent around him.

Favre has proven he can get it done. Chad has proven he can get a team to the Playoffs and then transform himself into paper-mache when he faces an aggressive Defense.

Chad is 3 for making the postseason when healthy. When healthy he's never had a losing season. Chad transforms into paper-mache but he has a better playoff record since '98 than Favre has. How does that work exactly? if you said Favre USED to come up big in January I'd buy it but it's been a long time since he carried a team anywhere and just this past January he threw away a chance at another Super Bowl.

And Green Bay was that close to a Superbowl with Favre; which we've NEVER been with Pennington (and it looks like Miami won't either). That's the point - there's a chance with Favre. There isn't with Pennington. And that simply cannot be argued because Pennington has never done anything to prove that, whereas Favre has.

Put your helmet on, you're going to want to smash your head on something after trying to make sense of that nonsense.

When healthy this, when healthy that. Well, Pennington is finally healthy, so at the end of the year, we'll see where he is and where Favre is. I already know you'll just say, "Butbut, Pennington is on a less talented team..."

Did it ever occur to you that the talented teams don't need or even want Pennington? They want better.

GB was in the NFC, they played a creampuff sched last year and had a creampuff division. Once AGAIN he lost at HOME in the postseason and they lost BECAUSE of him!

You would think w/ all your head smashing some sense would kick in.

That's one of the main problems...he can't stay healthy. ONE of the main problems in a long list of them.

It's always excuses and this woe-is-Chad mentality with you. "Chad was injured, Chad was in the tougher division, Chad had less talent, Chad had to play the Patriots" blah blah blah.

Again, Favre had 1 losing season his entire career. Is he the luckiest QB in the NFL, to always have so much talent around him, such an easy schedule every year, etc?

And it works both ways, Junc. The last time Chad took us to the Playoffs, we were 10-6 and got there with an easy schedule and by beating the bad teams, and losing to the good ones. Then we were bounced first round.

But, since it was Chad and the Jets, I guess the schedule wasn't easy. For Favre though, it was a creampuff schedule.

I loved it when Chad was driving down the field against us, and suddenly threw the pick. Well it wasn't THAT sudden. He's done it an awful lot.

I think we have our answer: Brett is the luckiest QB in NFL history and Chad is the unluckiest.

    It's just voodoo, man.

    Cream Puff Schedule?

    1. Eagles: Ugly Game, but a playoff caliber team. We played them before all the injuries... and won.

    2. @Giants: We crushed the Super Bowl Champs. Cream Puff eh?

    3. Chargers: AFC Championship losing team last season: ANd we beat them with another GW TD pass from #4. Amazing. Cream Puff it is!

    4. @Denver and KC - Both teams were in the "superior afc" and on the road, and both were won with late game heroics by Favre, who arguably had a horrible game most of the game but got it done when it mattered (like he did again against KC this year).

    5. We played Dallas in Dallas. We lost, but it's still a notable game to argue against a cream puff schedule.

    6. @Bears, @Vikings. Won one, lost one. However, it's never easy to win on the road anywhere, and these are the packers greatest rivals. So, you can call them "easy wins" all you want, but it's never easy beating a rival.

There: I just listed half the schedule that screams as "tough". We played 3 playoff teams, which is more then most teams can say each season. We went 2-1 against those teams.

So... yeah. The rest the schedule is mostly easy because the NFC North was not very competitive last season. That can be said about NE too last season.

When Chad's not hurt he's the smartest QB on the field. When faced with adversity, Chad doesn't fold he unfolds....his white towel.

Every football watching human, and non-human that can speak, that has seen Chad play knows the way to beat him is 1) stack the box and 2) pressure the shit out of him.

Yes I know, Curtis had great years on the Jets with Chad, but ya know what? Curtis was having great years long before Chad. But hey, why take my word for it. We have all hall.ucinated and don't really know football. To the untrained eye it only appears that Chad is a mediocre QB. To the true football genius with an internet connection it's apparent that Chad invented football and is far superior to anyone that has ever layed their hands on that funny looking thing they call a ball.

I'll give him this, he sure is relentless.

But hey, some people define crazy as performing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

    You nailed it.

In some little tropic forest, in the heart of some tribe, there's a shaman sticking pins into Pennington's wrist, shoulder, ankle, team, and schedule.
