So INTs don't hurt your team from winning? Sure, you can overcome them from time to time especially against bad teams but we couldn't overcome them against SD, we barely overcame them against Cincy and KC and we couldn't against Oakland but keep telling us how many TDs he has b/c that tells the whole story especially since 8 came in 9 games. I realize some consistency is a little much to ask. It's great he throws 6 TDs one game and 3 INTs the next. That's how Championship teams are built!

I gotcha now. See I was looking at the win column. I see the error in my thought process now.

I was ready to throw Chris Baker under the bus for tripping over a fire-ant. Or the O-Line for letting the Raider blitz to walk through it. Or Schotty for not exploiting the bad run D. Or our D for being crappy against the pass.

I see now that it was nothing more than INTs that have held us back from being 8-0 at this point.

What in the world was I thinking?

Of course it was baker's fault for falling notnfavre's fault for leading us to 13 pts in 5 qtrs.

Of course it was the OL's fault even though Favre holds onto the ball too long

Of course it was the OC's fault, not his fault when we score 50 but his fault when we score 13 in 5 qtrs.

What are you thinking? I have no idea but you really should start paying attention to the games if you are going to pretend you know something.

I vote this for funniest post ever.

You keep yammering about holding the ball too long. And that makes sense because Chad throws the ball to the closest person he can. That's your style. Short.

Junc, I love how you ignore all of the stats that contradict your rants, but you will go find the one single instance where it supports your argument and beat it like it owes you money.

Really Junc...give it up. We are in first place in the division. What else matters? Shall I remind you where your boy had us at this time last year? Seriously. We should have beaten Oakland but it wasn't Favre it was the ridiculous gameplan. We should have beaten NE too. We didn't. still we are in first place and own the tie breakers. The second half starts this week and our destiny is in our own hands. Give it a break.

We should have beaten KC even worse because of the crappy game plan as well. But he ignores the facts on that one.

He's telling us that Favre overrides the game plan and throws the ball all he can to undermine this coaching staff.

How do you argue with that? I'm not doing it anymore. I'd rather gnaw my elbows off.

What stats contradict what I say? The man has turned it over FOURTEEN TIMES! Opponents have socre FOUR TDs directly from Favre! He had ONE great game where he padded some #s but overall he hasn't played well and of course you couldn't show me the game where he was the difference maker beside the ARi game(6 TOs in the 1st half didn't hurt either) but keep spouting off about his fantasy #s as if they are relevant.

W/ every post you show me you know lss and less. Is Favre working w/ the same OL that Chad/Clemens were last year? Does Favre have the same D that we had last year? I didn't think so. We had the look of a playoff team before the favre trade.

I'm content for now being in 1st but I hope those games we blew b/c of favre don't come back to bite us later in the year. I EXPECT he'll get better, i expect the league will figure out Chad has no one to throw to and he'll level off but who knows?

Here we go w/ the excuses again. It was the gameplan's fault not the players executing it but w/ Chad it was all his fault. How does that work exactly?

I don't think favre overrides the game plan, I think they WERE tailoring the gameplan for his arm and allowing him to go nuts throwing the ball when we shouldn't have. That doesn't give him the go ahead to thow multiple INTs every game though. Last week they scaled it back and he looked good except for the 1 awful INT.

You really can't see the forest for the trees, can you? And you say I know less and less...lol. Read my lips...we are in FIRST place. Your rants are senseless. If he had 50 picks and we were leading the division it still wouldn't matter. Only one thing matters and that is winning. He is doing it often enough to put us in first where as your boy has his team in last.

At the end of the day we have a better chance of winning with a Qb that takes chances and actually tries to get the ball in the end zone instead of dinking and dunking our hopes away like Chad. At the end of the day Farve wins. Every game is not going to be a ball controlled 17-10 win or loss. Winning Qb's Traditionally take risks to win and come out on top more often than not.

This is the thread that never ends, yes it goes on and on my friends. Some people started debating it, not knowing what it was, and they'll continue slinging it forever just because

B/c we are tied for first means everything is ok? it's ok he played so poorly against Oak that he cost us a game? I ca forgive the NE game b/c it was his 2nd start for us but what about Oak? What if we lose the div or a playoff spot by 1 game? Will it be ok then?

Why is Chad just a game back w/ half the talent?

That's just it, Junc. Chad is always a game back; or a TD short; or just ran out of time; or just doesn't have the talent around him.

He's never the guy on top. Year after year after year.

The Uniform answered this question perfectly. When it is all said and done Chad will do just enough to accomplish nothing! Chad is a game back because of RONNIE BROWN! RONNIE BROWN! We both know it ends ugly when the trick o doesn't work anymore and he actually has to throw to a Wr.

Like Favre? when is favre on top? 1996? That was a LONG time ago.

So Ronnie brown and his 3.9 YPC are carrying Chad? That's interesting.

Let's see, Favre took his last team to the Conference Championship. Do you really want to start comparing Favre's and Pennington's resumes?

    It was Joe Montana's too...

I'm sorry but this whole Chad v. Favre thing is retarded. Chad is a fine QB who coulda/shoulda/woulda been more had he not had two major shoulder surgeries before the age of 28. Right now he's one of the better game managers in the league, and one of the smartest QB's in the league.

Favre is a Mr. Excitement. He'll piss you off and then he'll make you happy...and it can all happen in a matter of 5 minutes.

That said...we'd be a very good team with Chad because a team is more than it's QB. We've got a good O-line, good WRs, and good RBs. Most QBs would do fine here.

So fans of Chad, do you mind allowing us to move on? We're trying to milk this Favre guy for whatever he's got left. Thanks.
