david harris to have groin surgery out 2-3 weeks

this could be what was bothering Harris in TC during the summer, and now it became really serious after the Chiefs game.

I think he was playing hurt all year. Doesn't sound like J Abe to me.

 

Not being able to cover Wes Welker could be a huge deal. The Patriots are pretty good at being able to exploit wide receiver matchups. Hopefully Bowens learns from his mistake.

Haha, I didn't mean to imply Harris has that stomach flu faker's "work ethic".

 

I saw him miss a tackle on special teams. That was about it. I guess he was his usual invisible self.

 

I am assuming Mangini has three weeks to get ready for that. (They didn't have him last week either). If he doesn't have it covered then boo on him.

Holy crap this really blows! Harris is a very important of the defense and I hate to see him out. Hopefully the Jets can go out there without missing a beat but it will be hard to replace Harris. Get well soon!

definitely a bad injury to have, you never seem to be quite the same after a bad groin injury and it lingers lingers lingers. that is why i cant understand how anyone is saying 2-3 weeks, especially if this surgery rumor is true. can anyone attest to surgery being fact?
