Dude...you have Steve Smith as a second tier WR. On the same tier as Steve Breaston. You didn't have Calvin Johnson on it. You didn't have Brandon Marshall in it. The other names you had were very obvious names to have on the list if you've paid any kind of attention to football this year.

I am fully aware that Johnson is the Lions best WR (and also was so earlier this season when Roy Williams was with the team) and draws better cornerbacks than does Steve Breaston. That said, Breaston was playing his role a bit better than Johnson was playing his role in Detroit, in my opinion (I have watched and charted Cardinals games, I have watched Lions games, and I have also examined play-by-play charts). I am not talking out of my ass on the issue. I had Breaston at the back end of my top nine. I had Johnson somewhere in the 10-15 range. I wrote as much and you chose to wildly distort it all. There's no way I'd take Johnson straight up over Breaston. Johnson is the better player, there is no question about that to me. However, Breaston had performed better through 8 weeks as far as I saw it. You had no issue with the other eight WRs I identified as having played very well through 8 weeks. Now, considering that is the case, a reasonable person would think, "Gee, I agree with Cakes on those eight other WRs. What's with Steve Breaston, though? Maybe Cakes is on to something there." By the way, was there anybody else on this board who could give a scouting report on Calvin Pace prior to this year? Nope, didn't think so. Did I steer you guys wrong with him? I wasn't pro-Pace to be cute or cool or anything. There is no hype with me. If a player is good, I'm going to say he's good. If you don't like it, that's tough.
