The Pro Bowl will select him due to not selecting him in past seasons. Plus, its not like he has done bad.
I think Favre will get voted in, but unfortunately he'll pass it up again and an alternate will go. Rhodes hasn't done much to warrant the attention around the league. I think Jenkins WILL def make it and Revis SHOULD make it. Right now, Cribbs looks like he should have the edge over Leon. LW hasn't had a TD on ST...so far. Hopefully, all of this changes as the season progresses. So, yeah, that's about right. So far, it appears that two Jets are a shoo-in for the Pro-Bowl.
Favre has rarely gotten in due to his name. In fact, Michael Vick beat him out one year with a 1000 yards rushing, and 2200 yards passing, with 21 combined throwing and rushing TD's, while favre had 32 TD's, 18 ints, and 3800 yards. Favre stopped being grandfathered in when he decided to stop going to the probowl. Will he get in this season? Well, it helps that manning if having a crappy year, and the brady is gone. There haven't been a lot of outstanding QB paly in the AFC this season, and if you start looking from team to team, Favre is actually already sitting in the top three without much argument. It's actually pretty sad, honestly.
Does any team get screwed over more in the pro bowl and hall of fame choices than the Jets? Thats a real question, not rhetorical.
I will vote for 3 Jets Jenkins, Revis, and Washington and maybe Ellis or Pace as honorable mention.............. LMFAO at voting Favre, Mangold or Faneca in.
i voted for Revis, Jenkins, and Ellis. i voted for Wallace Wright for Special Teams because he has done a great job and i really don't know of other special team studs from other NFL teams.
i keep saying thomas jones but no one agrees? what the hell? hes 2nd in the AFC in yards and avg and with 5 Td's he's T-5 . GET HIM IN THERE!!
Wow I was just checking out the stats for RBs. It is a down year for RBs in the AFC, at this point Jones definitely deserves to make the pro bowl with his numbers.

We will get 2 in Jenkins and Favre. Revis isn't known enough outside NY. There aren't enough throws his way for people to know who he is. If you watch the TV coverage they never mention how dominant he is. Most people watching probably just think thier stud WR is just having a bad game. As far as others. Favre will make it on name recognition. (People fill out the forma nd think: I'll vote for my guy, one of the top QBs, oh and Favre because he has been the man for so long. For every other category they will go, Jets? Jets don't deserve to have a pro-bowler. Our RB and WR aren't sexy enough to make the PB. Our team isn't strong enough to get the other positions in. Jenkins is an exception because he is a monster and they have been talking about him every game as a game changer.
Thats more of a reason why 77 deserves to make it, not TJ! because our run D has been so dominant, it has lowered the stats for all RBs in AFC :smile:
