i dont know if anyone saw this or not but on the jets official website it says that the game in 2 weeks at foxboro is going to be played on thursday. that pretty cool that the jets are getting another prime time nationally televised game.
Well hopefully it turns out better than the last primetime game. Looking ahead, Jets-Titans might be flexed to a Sunday night game if we keep playing well.
That game has always been scheduled for Thursday night no? Not a huge fan of Thursday Night Games honestly. We have a short week to prepare for a tough team, but more time to prepare for Tennessee I guess. Also, Sundays without the Jets are BORING!
Cool? The Pats are home for the next 2 and we have to travel to them on short rest. I hate the short week, Sunday was made for football. The NFL (and their greed) should leave most of the games on Sunday where they belong. Any advantage toward the Pats irritates me like a pebble in my shoe.
Agree w/ Chrisp22, but then again the Pats maybe licking wounds after the Bills and they'll have a short week as well. Tenessee's looking tough.. the extra time is definitely gonna help for another critical game. ps.... does anyone have a copy of the jet/chief game from last week on video or dvd? I went to the game and set my dvr to record it but direct tv had some kind of interruption (figures ...never happened before) and came back to hawaii to find nothing got recorded since the failure. I would really appreciate it if I could get a copy...Posterity sake....mahalo MauiJet
Agreed. Being an away team on a short week is always a bad thing. Thankfully it's not exactly a long trip but they could use the extra time to practice. Thursday night games in general just plain suck.
Yep, that's another one to get off tenyardtorrents, and in the meantime avoid reading any newspapers or watch any TV sports news or talk to anyone for two days
True, but we also get a 10-day week, almost a bye, heading into our last six games. That's a huge advantage, one that Dallas traditionally has taken advantage of after their Thanksgiving game. Detroit not so much.
Ugh I hate night games, especially now that it is mid morning for me. Although you would think the Jets hold the advantage playing on short rest coming off a home game with the rams compared to the Pats coming off a game with the Bills.
This is a little off topic but does anyone think that the Broncos-Jets game will be flexed to Sunday night after Thanksgiving. There aren't that many great games on the schedule for that week and this could be an intriguing match up. I'm going to that game but I also need to be back at school that night so I'm trying to figure that out. Anyone have any ideas about that game?
I'll be there, can't wait. Good football week for me: Get to see Notre Dame come to BC on saturday night (as well as hockey friday night for a rematch of last years national championship) and the Jets come up here on thursday
I will be at Gillette to see the game, I am really excited as it will be my first NFL game and its the Jets
