I think we can put the Thomas Jones bashing to rest. Jones has shown he can be a solid runner, and his contribution to this team is big.
Washington, what else can we say about this kid? He not only knows how to play the game with his physical skills, he knows the rules. That play on the kickoff was crucial to this victory.

I still think that Jones falls down wayyyyyyyyyyy too easily for a guy of his size. Tends He's not elusive, doesn't have the jukes you'd hope for, and I feel as though he's really prone to hitting the turf upon initial contact.

That being said, we could certainly do alot worse for ourselves and Jones has most definitely contributed to our success over the course of this season.

I believe that drafting a RB in rounds 2-4 would be in our best interests.

can't disagree with us drafting a RB, next April, but that being said, i still think TJ's kicking his game up a notch. He seems to be doing better at cutting back, and finding the open lanes.Something he did not do last season.

When he does get into a rhythm he is a lot more effective than being relied on in odd situations. He came on strong in the 2nd half like he always does.

I too would like to see his replacement drafted soon. The next guy to compliment LW

Props to the coaching staff for finally figuring out when to use each guy in different situations.

When somebody runs for 100+ yards in a game just once I'll start thinking that maybe, just maybe we don't need to draft or trade for a RB next year. Oakland has a few spares as do a few other teams.

Jones' size will help in the long run. He'll be stronger than most as the season goes one...a lot of defensive players will wear down and he'll still be strong. We'll need him to carry this team through the cold weather games.

Washington just needs to keep making big plays. He's can't carry this team, but he can set this team up to put points on the scoreboard.

The offensive line has become one, and we're going to run on everyone.

    It's all good.

One of the unsung heroes yesterday in my book was Faneca. On Jones' longest run (23 yards) he picked up 2 blocks down field after he pulled to the strong side.

Jones added some much needed scats and jukes yesterday that helped him pick up a solid 2-3 yards when normally he would go down. If we can build off this game and become a dominant running team, we will set up Favre with manageable 3rd downs, PA plays and screens for LW. It's all coming together gentlemen. We haven't seen our absolute best yet, but it's all coming together.

Based on what I have seen the past few games from TJ & LW, I think we can get through another draft/offseason without focusing on the RB position.

I am no big TJ fan (no breakaway speed and no 2nd effort, although he have some nice moves on that long run to the right later in the game), but he has had 2 100+ yard games already this year, which means you're talking out your ass again.
