Eh, he moves back home to texas, makes a couple million dollars, and has a chance at a ring. You call it desperate, I call it easy money.
a man with a successful career that sells out for a ring, who might not even play is pretty desperate and pathetic... Junior Seau is a league of his own however...
He's got a few years left in the tank. Two superbowl contenders offered him contracts, seems like he's going to be useful somewhere. Every young NFL player wants one thing. Money. Every veteren NFL player wants one thing. A Ring. I can't knock the guy for playing another season in pursuit of a ring, especially when he would have stayed with miami another season. Seau is different. the man made a big scene for retirement. He's just pathetic.
That sounds about right to me. It seems pretty clear to me that Thomas actually cared about playing, and was not in it just for the money. I can't imagine why anyone would suggest that he should turn down a million or two from any team that wanted him to play for them, and Dallas is a very legitimate SB contender that's closer to home. And maybe he didn't want to go to the Pats because he hates them as much as Jets fans and players might.
The Cowboys will continue their streak of not winning a playoff game. Zach Thomas will do nothing to break that.
What exactly is pathetic about what Thomas did, shitbrick? Parcells cut him as a favor to choose his own destiny. Perhaps maybe he should have joined the Jets though right? LOL The fact that Thomas chose Dallas over New England speaks volumes about Thomas' character. "Fin for Life"
Again, absolutely NO idea what you are talking about. How exactly is Zach "selling out" for a ring? Please try not to drool over your keyboard while you answer that question.
Oh no doubt. We know he's old and doesn't have much left in the tank. I just don't see how any of this is "selling out". The guy grew up in Texas, probably as a Cowboy fan, went to Texas Tech, now he chooses Dallas over New England(where NE is probably a more realistic shot at a ring), and yet he is somehow a "sellout" for choosing an NFC team over a heated division rival. LOL, okay.
If you ask me hes choosen 'home' over a ring if anything. Good luck to him , I just hope he shouldn't be retiring rather than playing on. I hate stories about crippled football players.
Right, just like he didn't the last time you clowns said he was too small to transition to a 3-4. Guess what he had one of his best years in a 3-4 and that was when he "lost a step".
I don't think he would have ever gone to any division rival, Jets, Pats or Bills. I also agree on the Dallas move being more about going home than a ring, but a ring definitely has a lot to do with it. Could you see him going to Houston?
