    Here’s my ideal.

    1) sign Kirk
    2) sign Sammy Watkins if he hits the market
    3) sign Carlos hyde or cj Anderson
    4) bolster o line in free agency
    5) trade back from 6 and attack remainder of the roster

Some of the free agents will come pretty cheap. With $100 mil in cap space I don't see why we should go into the draft with any holes.

Mallett is a solid # 2, much better than anything we have now. He is also 6'6" and unlikely to end up on IR.

Manziel will come cheap and has a ton of upside. At worst he is camp fodder.

I think he's considered in the top 5, but he doesn't get nearly as much love as the other RBs, I agree ... I like him more then Nick Chubb ... this class is very deep at RB.

We still have to save $$$ to potentially resign Leonard Williams and Q ... cant blow the entire wad

    WR Allen Robinson
    WR Donte Moncreif
    TE Tyler Eifert
    OG Andrew Norwell
    DE Sheldon Richardson
    CB Bashaud Breeland

Those won't come cheap IMO ... IDK what world Mallett is a solid #2 though, I would still resign McCown and draft a QB late, I think McCown is a upcoming coach in this league.

Eifert would cost less than $7 mil per year. Moncreif will basically be camp fodder, he won't make much at all.

The other four guys ain't cheap but we need talent and they all have it.

So say thats about 50M, then 30M for Cousins that brings us to around 80M ... then rookies and depth?

Yeah I don't know if that will work out

While I love Barkley, Penney might be a close second for a "do it all" RB and he can probably be had in the 2nd.

Cousins will probably cost around $20 mil this year as the signing bonus is spread over the life of the contract (salaries usually go higher).

Other contracts will also grow over time rather than have an equal hit in each year.

If we are allowed to do so I would extend Leonard Williams now. We really do not have too many guys on the roster now that we have to worry about losing later.

Part of the reason I have us signing two CBs along with Eifert is that we could lose ASJ and McClendon. I would like to have them back at the right price but there are other options.

Want no part of that moron... he says all the right things and does the exact opposite... I’d take Hack or Petty any day.. at least they won’t be hung over trying to play backyard football

I don't like the idea of signing Hyde or cj . There are plenty RB in this year's draft. I'ld like to see
Us get penny in the third round

might be able to get him a round later, Sony Michel
Eifert would be nice, but he can't stay healthy. McClendon's contract was exercised, so he will be back. I still don't think we will be able to sign all of those players, but it's not worth the further debate IMO. They are good players I would like on the Jets.

Whose going to throw preseason TDs and get overjoyed to be our savior at QB, if we cut TGG hall of fame Petty?

Sheldon??? Cmon now u can’t be serious.... dude is a head case.

I think the Jags will franchise A Rob...

I like Eifert, Norwell, Breeland and Moncrief though. Eifert has a huge ceiling but needs to stay on the field, same for Moncrief... Norwall is a stud. Breeland is underrated imo
