Posted this on Jay's Weather thread - for those that may've missed it, this is pretty crazy. While there are many Yonkers streets much steeper than this one, still, what idiot tries to drive down a hilly street on ice? Driver did a good job trying to keep it together...but Mother Nature and the Yonkers terrain eventually won the day...imagine being behind the wheel. It sounds like a Road Runner cartoon when Wiley E. Coyote falls off a cliff....then there's a pause.....then 'splat!' It gets worse: the driver was a woman who was 5 months pregnant on her way to a doctor's appointment. After spinning out down the hill she hit the sidewalk, a fire hydrant and then a car with another woman in it - somehow no one was seriously hurt.
When I read your post I thought it said Sipping, instead of slipping.... I thought, who can pick this stuff out of these videos...
She had also finished a defensive driving course a couple of days before the accident also. Glad she was ok.
