Cuban's not like that. He takes an active role in the running of his team. Look how involved he was in the Kidd business last year. We could do far worse for an owner (like Dolan, who I fear).

michael kay on his radio show defended pavano, and i guess i believe it.. The guy had Tommy John surgery, and also some weird ones. Either way tho, he has been injured none the less. I want to go into this start with him as a fresh one.. I hope he does well, as does most everyone else. He is way better then having the back end of our current rotation

Kay would defend Vladimir Putin if he were wearing pinstripes.

Actually, from the little I heard, I was pleasantly surprised that he wasn't such an awful homer on his radio show.

I wouldn't mind YES putting the show on when Francesa goes to MSG. As long as he remains neutral and YES allows him to speak his mind like they did for Russo and Francesa.

In fairness, I've never heard Kay's ESPN show. Well, except that time he ranted about someone complaining about him mentioning a no-hitter inside the game. I have no idea what he says, but there's no question, when he's doing anything on YES, he's as big a homer as I've ever seen.

well that his job on YES. I think Marv Albert was fired from the knicks for criticizing them and what not. From 3-7 Kay has a great radio show, and i would recomend it.. i haaaaaaaaaated him on YES, but once i heard him on the radio, i really like the guy

So Francesa and Russo are both leaving? That will finally get rid of one of the most obnoxious sports shows on radio.

60% of the Yankees playoff run rotation may consist of Pavano - Rasner - Ponson.... wow

Doesn't make him any different than anyone else on the team. This is frustrating. Losing is acceptable. Not making the playoffs is normal for more than half the teams in the league. But to have this many supposedly talented bats, on top of what has been fantastic pitching, is just painful to watch.

I know I've been spoiled by the past dozen years, but I don't ever remember being this disappointed in the Yankees when I was kid.

This is just embarrassing. If I were Halladay, I'd go into the clubhouse and play drinking games between innings just to make it interesting when I came back out on the mound to make the Yankees look like minor leaguers.

I won't fault the Yankees tonight because at least they tried to do good and that is half the battle.
