I'd much rather have Craig Wilson pinch-hitting than old man Julio. I've been railing about Julio since last season, and it's really getting ridiculous. it's nice that he still wants to play and all, but let him go play for Kansas City or something. There, it'd be a nice story and no big deal if he hits .210 with no power. Here? On the best hitting team in the NL? Please.

Julio has come through...I don't understand why people are screaming for heads on a platter (Delgado, Franco, Schoenweis...) when it's only May. People were pissed at Wright in April, and suddenly he's hitting well. Shocker. By the way, we have the best divison on the National League. We must be doing something right.

Schoeneweis because he's been atrocious and has a stupid contract. Julio because he has a slow bat and is, at this point, basically a novelty. I don't think any sane person thinks anything could or should be done about Delgado being on the club, be we have a right to be upset over his worthlessness so far. Yes, he'll get out of this funk eventually and a couple of hot streaks will even him about a bit, but it's undeniable that he has slipped up a bit from what he used to be. Which is expected, but unpleasant.

It was a good win. Hopefully the Yankees bats will wake up and the starting pitching will continue to do well (for the most part at least).

i never said anything in the first 2 games all i said in one post in one thread that we were going to bash maine.

and you won game one good, just one bad pitch by pettitte, its all good, and the second our starter left im sure you know so we really didnt have a chance. so that was a given win.

If only your club had the killer instict you seem to possess, then they might not be 10.5 games out of 1st.

At least we got one, now hopefully we can win this next series as we have our rotation lined up perfectly.

That sucks bro. I was working the entire time myself, but I was fortunate enough to either have a radio or tv, plus the internet around me the entire time.

If you're a good luck charm, then we need you watching this week against Boston bro. We need to somehow pull off a sweep here.

Clippard was huge for you guys last night.... I think he's gonna start you guys on a winning track. That performance last night is exactly what you guys needed.

I just wish Hughes had never gotten hurt. Can you imagine a rotation of Wang, Pettitte, Hughes, Clippard, Moose? Who needs a bullpen?
