Can anyone think of some "workout warriors" from the past 10 years that shot up draft charts, and became a great player when many people were predicting bust when they were drafted pretty high? I haven't been following the draft that closely until about 3 or 4 years ago, and some of the workout warriors from the past 3-4 drafts are still yet to be determined if they are busts or not

I don't knowabout those guys, both were terrific in school as well. Suggs actually ran a terrible 40 if I'm not mistaken.

As for examples, it's really tough to say, because our minds are so used to them as pros at this point. I can't even think of one.

Well I say them because most people looked at them and said they are really fast and got a lot of sacks in college but they aren't big enough to play End in the pros. But they did anyways and are succeeding.

Yes Suggs ran a "bad" 40 but it was only bad because most wanted to switch him to LB because he was too small. He ran like a 4.6 which is pretty darn good for an end!

Oh yeah, true about Suggs' 40. Spaced on that.

pretty much i'm just wondering if workout warriors work out or bust a higher or lower percentage of the time, but i guess it's really too hard to call

guys like vernon davis, jay cutler should be interesting even though they were good ncaa players....the real reason they are being talked about as top 10 players is because of their potential in the nfl, not ncaa production

I strongly disagree on Davis, he was a fiend in college.
