As a longtime FSU fan I've always enjoyed following our players around the league and keeping up to date on their playing careers. I've been disappointed in Winston. All the talent in the world and a great arm but has yet to mature into a man and become a leader by example. Licking his fingers in the huddle and making a fool out of himself during pregame all while his teammates looked at him with embarrassment? It's sad.

GM was asked a "trap" question and said the right thing. Its doubtful, but if Bucs start 3-0 or 2-1, why upset the apple cart. It's obvious Winston is immensely more talented than most starting QBs, but with his, once again, off the field issues, can the Bucs trust him?

Me personally, his "leadership " screams forced, obnoxious and immature.

    Eat a W.

Winston better get used to warming the bench.

Muh man Ryan Fitzpatrick (the New York Jets all time single season TD record holder and leader of one of the most prolific Os in franchise history) is back to lighting up the scoreboard and throwin' plenty of TD pases.

    Up next Philadelphia.

If the Fitzpatrick led Bucs can pull out that W ...

I think this turns into a Cousins situation and a chasm forms between him and the team. Winston is a very promising young QB and those are a premium, I think Bucs probably find a way to trade him. I thought the Saints were a good option before getting Teddy....with the right coach he would be a stud.

He's immature and not very bright. Remember when he 'poked' Marshon Lattimore?

Fitzpatrick is such a roach man, it's comical.

Fitzpatrick is like Samson. I knew cutting his beard in 2016 was the wrong call.

And the Eagles offense isn't the Saints offense.

    Just saying.

What's this love for all things Ryan fitzpatrick? I'm not sure why you think he's suddenly a force to be reckoned with because he played a Saints team with a very bad defense.

    What's with all the hate?

The guy put together a incredible season for the Jets in 2015 one for the record books.

I'm not allowed to root for him?

No, lmao. Chill I can bust your balls a little. On the reals, he won't do the same thing this week. Philly will get him, NO almost let Petty beat them last season.

    It's a brand new season.

    Tampa Bay's home opener.

    We'll see.
