Lets keep some youth on the defensive side of the ball. Plus, I am assuming he would command a little more money than he is really worth!

Lets see how we look after we get under the cap. Remember, the CBA hasn't been approved yet.

He's the type of guy that would fit well in this system for a year or two, but I'd rather find a younger version of McGinest.

McGinest still has something left in the tank and he would be a great addition and leadership pressence.

Unfortunately I can't see it since teams (Dallas?) will offer more $$$ and provide a much better chance to win. With the cap they have, I like the odds of McGinest (if cut) going to the Browns.

    are you people insane???

Do you really want to route for a a guy you have been forced to hate for the last 12 years???? This guy is old, fat and slow-- he's also a Patriot lets not forget. I want nothing to do with him. Not at 36 years old.

Easier said than done. We're not in a position to make the best use of a player like McGinest. We're not challenging for a championship next season. We need to get younger players.

My point is that I don't care what team a player comes fron as long as we win.

Oh, I agree with you there. Believe me, as a Yankee fan I'm happy to have Johnny Damon. Just like I was happy to have Wade Boggs and Roger Clemens.
