Damnit ... now I still gotta watch him play cause I watch the Packers play as well. Mike Daniels will light a fire under his ass.

Well what does that say about Bowles if he goes to GB and is suddenly motivated and into it? Where was the effort here? Why was he allowed to check out like that?

Because Aaron Rodgers is his QB instead of Mr Rodgers

ha. But still I mean if you're an all pro talent like he is, you can't outright quit and slink away like he did. Unprofessional.

Same. Adopted them a few years ago after I went to Lambeau and everyone was amazing.

I agree I know what you're sayin. I hate Mo for checking out on us, but I'm not sure his play in GB will tell us if it was him or Bowles that contributed to his free-fall here. Probably a combination of both.

Looks like we'll play the NFC North, so we will see Mo again soon. Sheldon might sign with the Vikings so double dip!

And Cousins too - that should be an interesting game thread.

Better yet, both are coming to MetLife. Nothing Jets fans love more than a good opportunity to boo the shit out of people!

    Cousins
    Mo
    Sheldon

Dream scenario for Jets fans: Vikings have a 19-14 lead late in the fourth quarter and are driving for the clinching score. On 3rd-and-5 on the Jets 15 yard line Cousins throws a crushingly bad interception. Rosen/Mayfield drives the Jets downfield, helped along by a fourth down Richardson roughing-the-passer penalty. As time expires Rosen/Mayfield throws his third TD pass of the game to win it for the Jets. The crowd goes crazy.

This would be fun but with the current rosters the Vikings are probably going to stomp us into oblivion

That's what makes it a dream scenario! I think the biggest reason it won't happen is that McCown will be starting for the Jets; I just hope that's because the game is in September or early October.

And it looks like he's going to be out for the season. Serious ankle injury, - possible ligament damage. Having surgery done in Washington DC rather than fly home to Green Bay.

I think that a lot of the $$ in his contract had per game bonuses.

3/13/2018: Signed a one-year, $4.7 million contract. The deal includes a $1.5 million signing bonus, a $1 million reporting bonus, and $600,000 in per-game roster bonuses.

Can a moderator please merge? He's out for the year. I never, ever want to see someone hurt, and that's really too bad. On the bright side, at least he'll be getting some much needed bed rest to cope with his pregnancy. In case anyone doesn't get it, I've been saying for years that Muhammad Wilkerson looked like he was carrying twins. Heal up, Big Mo. Oh, well, at least someone else is footing the bill. Kinda.

He was clearly upset. Probably because he knows that he did more damage to his career w/that last year stunt he pulled with NYJ than the ankle injury itself.
