UCLA, or as most of the students there pronounce it, U-C-Air-A.
Notre Dame and Michigan for football. St. John's for hoops.
Could care less... I got this huge Florida State fan in my office and it's like how can you like college football that much, but not run with an NFL team.. He could care less about the NFL..
Jets got me hooked man..
Only the girls I date pronounce it that way......
For me I'm a UNLV fan, they suck but we did make a bowl game for the 1st time in 13 years last year. We have a tough schedule but have some talent so hopefully we can build off of last season and get back to 7-6 and in a bowl game. WE play 13 games this year because we go to Hawaii.
Miami for football and the Siena Saints for basketball.
Oregon Ducks for football and basketball. The Ducks are mostly known
for our football team but we were doing well basketball until
the debacle that was this offseason. If the Ducks finish ninth in the Pac-12 it
will be a miracle.
Rutgers Football for sure!!
As my name implies, I'm from Kentucky. Grew up on UK basketball, football has never been that great, apart from the Couch and Woodson years. Mark Stoops has been a great hire for UK football though, he seems to be turning things around.
and every now and again Notre Dame.
LSU Tigers for me
Wow, a husker that roots for two other schools, I thought it was sad enough that you are from there, now you reveal that you also have no conviction
I am going to try to make it to the McNeese LSU opening game, of course I will be wearing blue and gold. Geaux Pokes
Hopefully LSU will be able to find a QB for next season. Jennings is awful.
Sorry State fans. Current senior at Michigan here.
Wasn't sure about the blue and gold (vs. purple and gold) until I read 'Geaux Pokes' <--good one. The game's at LSU. Saturday night? Death Valley? You have to go! Just make sure to start drinking early.
Cowboys return home the following week to play against what has to be the most bizzare college name: Incarnate Word. Didn't they once open for Stryper? +
Probably going to make a road trip out of it and spend some time in New Orleans before heading to the game. I am sure to be good and primed for the game, I think my wife will be doing the driving that day.
My Alma Mater...
Their name is confusing. You don't reside in North/West Florida and call your university the University of South Florida. When I think South Florida I think Miami, West Palm, Ft. Lauderdale.
Also, the Bulls? Do they even raise cattle in the Tampa, FL region?
I had no idea--I thought it was SOUTH Florida.
Just looked at a map. University of Central Florida (which is central) and USF are almost parallel.
Correct, it makes no sense at all. I don't know why they're named USF, but it's the school I got my degree at, therefore, they're my team. I Kinda like when all these Tampa Bay Bic fans, sneeze and insinuate that I should be a BUC fan cause I live down here. Nope. I say, I'm from Long Branch N.J. and the JETS are my team, it is what it is...
