I tihnk your mistaking Brunell for a bad QB, remember him in Jacksonville? well hes even better here.

He fits onto this sytem perfectly. Every play he has like 2 or 3 dump off guys (cooley, portis, royal).

Why do so many people want a QB that's been a flop or booted out of another town? Ramsey, Brooks, etc. I just don't get it.

I don't get it either. I'd much rather draft a QB and stick with Bollinger, short term.

Well, if you cut Chad, then you need two QBs, and one with starting experience might be nice. As for Ramsey, lets remember that Gibbs is notorious vet-centric. He had no patience for Ramsey learning on the job, something we may have more patience for. Yes, he makes some bad decisions, yes he is immobile, but yes, he is tough, smart and strong-armed. I have been a Ramsey fan for a long time, I'd definitely consider it, and for a friendly deal I'd even like it.

I say we give Bollinger a shot next year. We draft our future QB and let him get used to the system. If need be he could start by the latter part of the season depending on how we are doing.

Bollinger is going to mature into a decent #2 QB. And he will be an adequate place holder is we let Penny go and draft a QB.

Listen no one thinks we are going to win the super bowl next year...we need a QB who can fill the gap until our team gels, we can get the cap back in order, and our coach gets a scheme together that fits us.

3-13, Laughing stock of the NFL? You put that all on Bollinger? Nothing on the fragmented Oline, nothing on the injured HB who Herm wouldn't sit, nothing on "hands of stone" McCareins? I doubt any QB would have done well in the situation Bollinger was in.
