with kawaneuka or whatever his name is gone. why not get ted and willie. the r 3-4 specialists and have won championships doing it. so why would any of u be upset aboout having these 2 vets on our squad not only to provide instant impact but also to help the youth work there way in? dont u dare say willie is way passed his prime cuz thats untrue. did u see him get 4.5 sacks against the jags on the playoffs or what? And do u know how huge ted washington is? he is the ideal 3-4 nt. he's 35 and still ballin. still is 365 and still had 48 tackles last year and played in all 16 games. still takes out at least 2 blockers at the line.

I'm down for Washington since the Jets and Eric Mangini are implenting a 3-4 defense, they need a clogger. Though in his late 30's, Washington would be a nice/cheap addition to play 20 snaps a game or so clocking in at 360+ pounds. The major thing is trying to teach Sione Pouha to be a NT in a 3-4 defense, who is 325 pounds...It'd be a one-year/stopgap solution to implement the 3-4 while trying to guide Pouha...

It would be great to have both of them. Their both Veterans who have been Pro Bowlers and are good players who would fit right into our system.
