Seriously, he's fucking garbage, he fucked up so many times including in the first quarter against the Bills (the second one). I really think nothing could be worse so anything else would be an improvement so why haven't Maccagnan cut him?

EDIT: I now know that he is a free agent which is nice, Maccagnan could replace him with a trash can and it would be an improvement so you understand why I posted this in the first place.

Tell him how you really feel. Pull off a "sign and cut". Out the door before the ink dries.

Punter is a very high priority, with only long snapper as a higher priority.

They should sign him to a cheap deal, just so they can cut him.

Maybe he's holding out for a mega contract. He's in his mom's basement right now putting together a highlight real......showing his one good punt from 30 camera angles plus a Spanish broadcaster going nuts ;)

I'm pretty sure we could have picked a kid off a local NAIA squad and have him punt last season..... If we just draft a punter and that's all then I will consider the offseason a success.

My friend's son was ranked as one to the top punters in college at Florida. Kyle Christy. He was invited to the Vikings camp last season and I recently had dinner with him in Las Vegas after his weeklong camp with John Carney in San Diego. I told him to have his agent contact the Jets because I feel he's better than Quigley. Unfortunately the punter position has little turnover because of longevity. They last longer in the leagues than any other position except waterboy.

He has the same agent as his former roommate, Caleb Sturgis, who is a kicker for the Eagles. He said he would have his agent reach out to the Jets. I'll keep you all posted if anything comes from it.

The Front Office are probably waiting for someone else to come along that they think is better. The thing is, that EVERY punter is better than Quigley, so they have nothing to worry about.
