Why does Geno Smith receive so much hate?

    A mid second round pick who has gotten a leash usually reserved for #1 overall picks in the draft.

    Kellen Clemens was also a second round pick he didn't get a fraction of Geno's leash.

    And this is a new regime what gives?

    Geno gets his hate the old fashioned way, he earns it.

    Geno has potenial. He just makes mistakes that costs the team big time. He reminds me of a weaker Vick at the moment.

    I remember seeing that attempted spike and PRAYING that it was not a sign of things to come LOL. I cant help but go along with those that agree the game slows down for quarterbacks in their third year. The O-line had issues and he did not have many weapons, I think a lot of the errors he made by his decision making will greatly decrease simply with experience.

    That leash is a consequence of the last FO. The new FO has taken two actions already to mitigate the risk of Geno Smith. They're just not running a parade through town because of those actions.
