We are out of the playoffs with no chance to gain anything in this last game. It is the time to play Hackenberg and other backups. This is the time to grade them out vs top line competition. How will we ever know what potential they might bring to the game. It looks like Miami took this route by starting their 3rd string QB. Good thinking. And our HC will be back for 2 more years.

our coach is a buffoon, our gm is probably asking him not to put him out there so the pick doesnt look completely wasted although that will become completely evident in due time. OR he sucks just that bad that he has no business after 2 years riding the pine, playing on an nfl field. i dont want to hear about how we were playing to win the game, we wouldnt have kicked a fg in the 4th to keep us down 18 if we were actually playing to win the game, we should know what bryce petty is without this game as well. oh and our owner and his brother are both idiots
Well he certainly didn't prove anything new to us loyal fans, same old same old from him again. 12th man penalty again, kicking a FG down by 3 scores, kneeling at the half, not throwing caution to the wind and letting Petty gunsling his way to retirement instead of persisting with a run game that wasn't even working, add on his time out woes and then you wonder why these same mistakes are being made on a weekly basis, this isn't the way potential superbowl winning coaches perform.
Watching how this jack-ass gets so pissed off at the post game press conference when asked simple common sense questions only proves what a mistake it was giving him 2 years ext. he doesn’t deserve 2 minutes.
There are zero signs of encouragement w Bowles.If you wanna believe the behind the scenes “culture” line I guess there’s that.. He’s just an ultra conservative glorified defensive coordinator whose defense isn’t even any good.Rex’s D puts his to shame. The only thing the johnsons understand is media perception. You can bet that if the media hadn’t been forced to kiss Bowles ass the last month & a half of season for exceeding W-L expectations they might’ve actually made a bigger deal about 5-11 2 straight years,taking knees w plays to be made,punting w points to be scored,etc. In all likelihood the Johnsons would surcomb To perception as usual & fired Bowles.

Hackenberg is complete trash....He's so bad that they won't even let him play a meaningless game.He couldn't beat out Petty for the #2 spot.We don't need to know his potential,the coaching staff is getting paid alot of money to evaluate players ....I will take there word for it that Hack is complete trash.He won't even be on the team next year either will Petty thankfully.Im tired of hearing there names
