What did the Jets see in Hackenberg?

    Yep I thought the Jets had something in Geno his rookie year, sturdy guy who made plays with his feet and had a cannon for an arm. But he kept making the same costly mistakes leading to turnovers, sacking yourself out of field goal range etc... Then he seemed to develop that "me against the world" attitude as a defense mechanism. The press and fan criticism got to him, he seemed to take it to heart.

    In the end he just didn't have the mental makeup required. That's why there are only maybe 15 good QB's on the planet. So many things need to work together and at the same time.

    Hack needs time to see if it does all come together, but it's looking unlikely at this point. Frankly the team would have been stronger with Osweiler in the room than Hack.
