thats not what the media told me! But if the Jets play awfully, I'll end up passing out by the 4th QTR
Ill be watching the games, enjoying the victories and planning on going to the Superbowl to watch the Jets finally bring home the Lombardi trophy........ Now where the hell is the sarcasm emoji?
Watch the Jets. When they're on the road, outside of Buffalo which I'll be attending, I'll watch the game with my soon to be father-in-law and we'll kick back 6-8 beers while we rant and rave over the shitty product on the field. When they're at home, I'll get up at 4 in the morning, head out the door by 4:30 in order to get to the gates at 6am to play corn hole with 5-7 people from my tailgate group, people equally as crazy as me, as we wait for the parking lots to open at 8, really 8:04 because they're never on time, and then we'll tailgate from 8-12/12:15, pack up the crap and head inside to, outside of maybe Jacksonville & Buffalo, watch us get our asses kicked - but hopefully in the meantime start to see the development of this young squad, hoping to pump ourselves up for 2018 and beyond.
I'm with Tony. If this place isn't a support group then I have to seriously rethink my approach to posting....I've been doing it all wrong.
You get up at 4 o'clock in the morning to go play cornhole, and start tailgating by 8:00? You have it bad, my friend. LOL
I've got fantasy and the rest of the NFL to keep me occupied. I love watching competitive, high level football so hopefully I can find some of that each week outside of this franchise.
I always record the games whether I'm home or not. This year, if I'm home, I'll watch in real time. In previous years, the wife (not a football fan) would avoid planning something on game day but this year, I told her she could. So if she has something scheduled, I'll do that and watch later.
The seasons gonna be interesting to the point that every Sunday we will be the underdogs and it's gonna be exciting if we manage to stay in games and keep it close .I'm not sure what to expect as far as how bad we will or won't be.
Not smart, just practical. On another note, to keep the season interesting, I will be following DeShaun Watson on Houston if he gets the starting job, which I suspect he will. I think he will be special, so I want to see if my instincts are correct. If he turns out to be a bust, I'm hoping no one reads this.
LOL Don't worry about that. I said that I thought neither Watson nor Trubisky would be anything special. If either pan out, I'll be eating crow and hating that Mac didn't draft one of them. I loved Mahomes but he scared me and I didn't think the Jets should draft him since we had Hack and Petty. That already looks like I was dead wrong. When the Jets only win 2-3 games (or less) RobA's gonna have a LOT of crow to eat. We'll all have our share.
Same here and to begin the season the Jets will be on the big TV with sound but once the Jets go 1-5, then its Red zone on the 65 inch with sound and the Jets on the 42 muted. And as the season goes on I can see doing something with the wife and starting my football Sunday around 2:30 so I don't feel like a complete loser by wasting a beautiful Sunday watching this crap. WIth the Red Zone I am not sure I would watch much NFL once the Jets compile some losses. Greatest invention since the Iphone
No not at all. NFL is the only sport I can watch teams other them my own. Only watch the Yanks, not one batter of any other team.
Let's see, week 1 dvr'd ,kids sports interfering. Week 2-4 watch live Week 5 hunting season starts so weather and record will dictate the viewing the rest of the way. I feel like the older I get the easier it is to skip watching a game for anything else I might have an option if doing
Gave up Game Pass. So Sunday will be food, beer, books and music. Plus fighting off the need to watch
