Oh the drinking will continue just not watching this mess. I'll sober up in the offseason when Bowles is gone. Maybe getting the right coach in here will renew my hope and faith.
Man, your wife must really love you and you must have a great woman there...watching Jets games with you and going to Jets games for 40 years. A lot of women would have divorced you for mental cruelty. LOL
Season ticket holder here. I will be at the games like always but probably drinking more in the parking lot than usual. When they are on the road I have the NFL Sunday ticket so I will watch other games if the Jets are getting their asses kicked which I suspect will be quite often.
I'll be at MetLife stadium, for cheap. enjoying the experience. I never leave there mad about us losing because I always have a good time regardless... plus we got fantasy football to look forward to.
I ain't paying for this crap again. If they are tanking then I am going to get the feed from some dodgy link. Maybe watch highlights of Mike Nugent getting drafted?
Pray to Colin Kaepernick. LOL Actually, I'll play tennis with daughter, do volunteer work. In other words, live my life.
Watch as usual (albeit without much emotional investment)..... but I'm sure not going to miss any good surf, or opportunities to chase big fish offshore if the opportunities present themselves on sundays this season
Honestly, yes. My nephew started a H2H league a few years back. It's fun if you get into it, and it helps keep your mind off the reality of ... well, you know ...
I'll watch when I can, but I won't turn down opportunities to go on mountain bike rides or hikes in the mountains. For those games, I will DVR and watch on ff when I get home. I've also got fantasy football to keep me interested in the NFL, although I think Powell is the only Jet I could draft.
Good job NV..I am unfortunately addicted to NYJ football (sigh) ...almost like the morbid curiosity of checking out a bad train wreck Just curious, you say your retired in Nevada but you are afraid of the "Florida drivers"?? .. I mean is that bad cataracts too heheh?
Been going to games since 98- have seen some very lopsided losses. There are fans who have decades on me and who have seen alot worse including my Dad. I am immune to the pain at this point, and will continue to watch the Jets no matter how bad they are. Its my passion/hobby as it is to others on the board. Excited for the season!!
