This is what scares me more than the potential lopsided score of the game.

I’m borderline not even kidding… I think we should run the ball three times on every possession, punt and then hope the defense can score some points.

Who is rushing the passer for the Bears? With Mack out, Darnold should be OK in the pocket. It's not that serious.

and who is Sam gonna throw to? The Bears will take away Kearse and that leaves the rookies and the new guy we just signed.

It was pretty obvious that the missing weapons killed the Jets today. They had nowhere to go with the ball pretty much every 3rd down. Run couldn't get started, Kearse with multiple drops, bad pre-snap penalties.

With Powell and top 3 WRs out, I can't really be too upset here. Get ready for a LOOONG season if the Jets don't trade for help and get healthy. Top 5 pick, here we come! Herndon has a bright future, though.

It’s weird. The last 3 weeks our opponents have dozens of guys running wide open- no one within 10 yards of them.

I haven’t seen one wide open Jet receiver in 3 weeks.

It’s like they are running to the defenders and turning around or stopping.

Geezuz I’m watching all these other games and every team has wide open receivers literally on almost every play.

    What the actual fuck.

The group of receivers that took the field for us yesterday is hands down the worst receiving group in the league. Kearse is the best player and he has no discernible traits other than being a good teammate that runs routes well. Other teams have the combo of burners, physicality and height. We have none. We HAD some... it’s all either in street clothes on the sideline or making videos for twitter to show that the team who cut him is stupid.

    And here’s the other thing.

Watching the Saints last night and I get that we don’t have Kamara and Ingram but they never once got stopped at the line for no gain or a loss or 1 yard. They had holes and we’re gaining 3 and 5 and 7 or more yards on every single running play.

I felt like 80% of our runs yesterday (and last week) were literally stuffed at the LOS. No holes. None or minimal positive yardage on ever run. I get we don’t have the talent and they are stacking the box to put the game on Sam but it is so stark watching us try to ground and pound to no effect and other teams seem to run just fine.

    What a boring freaking game.

Where's Chaz Schilens, Jalin Saunders, Clyde Gates, Devin Smith and Stephen Hill when you really need them... Now there was a group of Wr's that struck fear... into the heart of our own OC.
