Matt Ryan vs TB on Thursday night or Phillip Rivers @ BUF on Sunday at 1PM. I feel like Thursday night rarely leads to big passing games, but Matt Ryan back in the dome in Atlanta. The other one, Darren Sproles vs WAS or CJ Spiller vs SD. I think I'm going Sproles because that WAS D seems like it can be beat easily
Matt Ryan at home In a PPR league Sproles otherwise Spiller. I have both on my team and I have Spiller as RB1 and Sproles as my RB/WR flex. I am 2-0 in my 10 team league.
I'd go Rivers; Ryan has the higher upside, but he's too inconsistent for my liking. Rivers will probably get you 15 fantasy points, I made the mistake of benching him in favor of Kaepernick and it came back to haunt me. And I think you should go Sproles especially if you're in a PPR league.
Yeah, PPR. I have Giovanni, Spiller, and Sproles with no flex, so I have to choose 2/3. I've kept Bernard steady as RB #1.
Chargers have a good D. Redskins not so much. For QB my vote is Ryan at home. Non-ppr pick 2: Jennings vs HOU Forte vs NYJ Thomas vs MIN Ivory vs CHI Asiata vs NO Brown vs BUF Think I can roll with Jennings but I gotta bench Forte. We're death for RB's this year.
think i'd go Rivers and Sproles. Thurs night games have often resulted in sloppy play and low fantasy points. normally i'd probably go Ryan, but because of the Thurs night factor, i'd roll Rivers. Sproles like you mentioned has a great matchup against Wash.
NO plays MIN. I drafted AP and luckily after hearing of his indictment I picked up Asiata. Do I start him or Khiry Robinson in the flex? Non ppr league Ingram got a broken hand - should be out a while.
So I sat AJ Green for DeAndre Hopkins but now Green insists he'll play. Is it worth the gamble? Do I wait another week to see if he's healthy? Last week I got zero points from him and I lost by less than 6 points. Even a crappy game by him last week and I win. What do you think? Obviously I'll wait till Sunday am to set the lineup.
I'll say this: If you think your team is clearly better than your opponent's, then you can afford to sit him, because if winds up playing, you'll win anyway (that is, if you indeed think your team is better in this particular matchup). Those goose-eggs hurt, so even someone who gives you, 6.3 points can be (and would've been) enough for the win. Obviously, this is all moot if it's announced either way before Sunday. But that's my .02.
I have Rodgers, McCoy, and Gio carrying my team. My third RB is Shane Vreen. He had a very solid Week 1 (approx 15 points), and a subpar Week 2 (like 5 points). This is my first year owning Shane Vreen. Anyone got advice on how to manage him in the lineup? (I also have Edelman, in case that info might be useful).
Yeah, we're PPR, and I currently have him in one of two Flex spots. I could put another WR or another TE (Martellus Bennett) in over Vreen, but I think I'm gonna keep rolling with him, despite the inconsistency.
I have both those players as well. I'm starting Khiry over asiata just because New Orleans should be winning the majority of the game and they will run the ball a little more. Asiata isn't thst good of a runner so I could see McKinnon getting more week this week.
I got AJ Green as well. Last week I still won by 30 points. This week my opponent is better than me. He has Matt Ryan so I am already behing 29 points. I will gamble and play AJ. Because if he plays decent I might have a shot winning the matchup. His backup is Wes Welker and B.Cooks. I am not winning with those 2 so I will go with AJ.
I have Green, but I'll be benching him. TEN is good against pass, I expect Cin to do most damage on the ground. My biggest headache re WRs is Bryant. He was injured, and Romo has back problems again so I don't trust Dal air attack.
I'm going to play AJ. His backup is DeAndre Hopkins and he's probable with an illness. Rolling the dice. _
