When your the bengals you don't fire coaches that get you to the playoffs. That's coming to end though. Team needs a new voice
Bengals OC Ken Zampese thrown under the bus. The inevitable decision of the head coach knowing he's about to get fired.
Agreed. Case in point, granted Shanahan won a SB with Denver, but it took forever for him to get the boot because of that untouchable thing. He should've been canned long before he was. Lewis should resign at the end of the season to save face. Fun fact: the Broncos actually have more arrests than the Bengals. Fancy that.
Marvin Lewis = a ver poor mans Marty Schottenheimer,,,,,,its all about getting to the playoffs for them,,,,winning games after that or championships is meaningless-------Lewis should have been fired years ago,,,,keep continuity ? yeah hows that worked out with Lewis ?
Fair enough. They did lose 5 straight wild card games though. 5 straight! All after double digit win seasons. He's run his course there. I wonder if they make the switch to McCarron at some point this year if Dalton keeps going the way he's going. Granted they didn't do Dalton any favors letting Andrew Whitworth and Kevin Zeitler going in place of two first year starters at tackle and then drafting runningback/receiver in the first two rounds. The defense still looks solid though. They've looked defeated in both their games this year, before the games even really got going. That's on coaching and the head coach and staff in general not having their voices heard.
Brady picks the terrible New Orleans defense apart on a ten-play drive, though Gostkowski misses the extra point. 6-0 Pats. Brees better have a great game or this will get ugly.
Aww bad decision there to throw to Duke Johnson, Weddle gets the deflected pass (then again I am starting the Ravens defense in fantasy)
Tempting to say that the refs are in Brady's pocket, but the fact is that the play was completely legal. It really doesn't matter - the Pats are clearly going for at least 40 today unless they take their feet off the gas.
