Week 2: Miami Dolphins @ New York Jets

I'll be okay with a similar performance from all three parts of the team as this week, minus throwing a pass against your body across the field.

 

Miami can't want to come to NY in a week after watching this and needing eight hours to squeak out a win against a team that spent most of the day imprisoned in a visitor's locker room.

 

Absolutely agree. I hope we don’t get this normally let down after a big time win like normal Jets games.

I want them to prove last night wasn't a fluke. I need to see consistency from this team week to week. If they can keep the penalty count low, they should win this game as Miami doesn't have near the weapons the Lions have. It was all hands on deck last nite and Bowles had better not let these kids get their heads too f'n big from all the love they're gonna get this week from the tri-state media. I would imagine the stadium will be packed and extremely loud as it should be. This team deserves the support as they're still young but growing up fast.

Do the Dolphins still have Matt Moore? Hopefully Tanny plays the entire game and we don't see Matt Moore. That guy always shreds us.

 

Congrats on the win and landing your franchise QB. Sucks for us fin fans but I hate the Giants too so it kind of evens out...well not really . Looking forward to a great game this Sunday. See you there!

 

Biggest obstacle I see is us being unprepared due to the gauntlet we run between our Monday, Sunday, Thursday schedule. Not too many days to prepare for three games. We clearly spent a lot of time preparing for the Jags.

While the Titans are missing their starting QB the Fins are undefeated, same record as us.

I am trying to cling to these observations so I don't get ahead of where this team is but I really think we are going to cream the Dolphins next week.

 

With Sam, no outside influences are needed.

 

Petty and Osweiller are the backups, not one QB out of the three worth a damn

 

Need to stop Gore at all costs. He's like 14.1 yards short of passing Curtis Martin for 4th all-time in rushing.

 

..Surely you can't be serious! I don't really believe in that BS...lol

 

If our secondary can replicate yesterday's effort, I can see multiple picks against Tannehill on Sunday. And if Sam continues to keep care of the ball we should be able to beat the Dolphins.
How awesome would it be, if we started the season 2-0.

 

For once, I'm not worried about the run D.

 

The Phins allowed the Titans to rip off some nice runs on kickoffs and punts....I think we have a shot to have another strong day in that department again. I think our secondary matches up well and will cover better than the Titans did.

 

A friend of my dad has season tix and offered up two of them for me and gf for Sunday. Can't wait!
