Given what we know of Hack and how important this game is to New England, I wouldn't be surprised with a Peterman-like performance if he started. It may not be that bad, because by the time he gets in the Jets could easily be 20+ points down anyway.
hmmmm......you know that would be awfully jet like. he comes in and lights up NE for 21 points in one half - convincing the jets to alter their offseason QB plans. comes back next year, named the starter, and lays a major egg in the first 4 games and never to start again...... oh the pain.

If they Draft Darnold, they will need to keep Manning for the remainder of his contract to get Darnold ready to play in the league. He is not ready to be a day one starter.
Luck missed 2017, he played 2016, last game was 1/1/17. He missed one season. If the Colt's are looking to take a QB, it's because they received a ton of picks in a trade for Luck , a trade he approved due to his no trade Clause.
What happens if Anderson gains 1,000 yards, other than he can make the case for more $ in the offseason? What happens for the good of the organization? Who cares if he gets 1,000 yards. Wins are all that matters and this team stinks and has for 6.5 years.

With reports that Hack has gotten reps but Petty WILL START, my question is: How short will Bryce's leash be? Obviously he is terrible and Belichick owned him last year. I guess I would give him at least 3 drives. We will see. Odds are he will play well and Hack won't get on the field. That is Jets fans luck lately
It's not like Bowles will let Hack throw the ball all over the field if he comes in. My guess is if you see Hack, look for lots and lots of handoffs. I really don't think we will see much of anything if he plays. And that's not necessarily a knock on Hack.
