I think every completed pass that Fitz threw in fitzmagic1.0 was a lucky break for us. Strange to go back over that season and see just how many passes were just godawful.
Here's Pereira: But note the comments on his Twitter feed.....he broke the plain of the goal. If that doesn't matter, which it doesn't if a running back leaps over the line and THEN fumbles, why does it matter with a receiver ?
If Pereira or anyone else can honestly say that if that’s Gronk or Edelman breaking the plain & still getting called back I’ll shut up.But we all know the truth.
Add another blown call to the list. Oakland stopped Dallas short on 4th down Steratore took out a card from his pocket and somehow gave Dallas a first.
A fumble that goes OOB in the EndZone results in a Touchback... Nothing new there and has been a rule for EONs. Many people don't know that rule so when It happens they are like WHAT!!!??? How the fuk!!!???..lol The Big takeaways (pun) is that they have enough evidence to overrule the ASJ call and the call Today...No Way they can CHANGE the calls. There wasn't enough on either...the ASJ you Never saw a 2nd Bobble and the James call today you never see the ball hit the ground. There was not enough on both of these and that's why there's an uproar.
This sums it up perfectly. NO WAY did they have enough on both of those to say 100% it should be reversed. The fact it handed them two games shows what a fucking joke this league has become. I've already begun my boycott of the leagues main sponsors and essentially every non Jets game. This nonsense is seriously taking the fun out of it.
The fact that he fit a folded over index card between the ball and the marker proves Dallas was short. Oakland and Pittsburgh got screwed over big time.
It's in his hand? Do you definitively see it on the grass? because there is no way anyone can say that this ball is on the ground to the point where you overturn the call...IOW.. Inconclusive. ftr, If they ruled it incomplete and I saw this I would say there is not enough to call the otherway because again, inconclusive... It should have never been overturned based on what if's and imaginary evidence. It has to be CONCLUSIVE...no way this is
Fair enough. Still believe there is blatant patriot bias within officiating, the league office & networks but ill shut up about this specific instance.
refs hard at work blowing calls again OJ Howard was out of bounds before he reached the ball across. Replay does not overturn it because they're only allowed to reverse actual TDs or something.
ESPN felt Gruden was going on too long so they cut him off in the middle of the halftime presentation.
