Gurley with the MORONIC play to cut inside instead of going out of bounds!

It is just amazing to me how terrible so many NFL players are in understanding the most basic fundamentals of play.

So a special teams fumble costs them a minute and a half off the clock, then Gurley not going out of bounds eats about 12 seconds so they only get one shot at the endzone instead of 3. Yikes. Again, where is the disciplined, efficient wrecking ball from earlier in the year?

The undisciplined panic is a reflection of the Head coach.

I can’t look at Booger McFarland’s fucked up fingers.

    Yet I can’t look away.

When's the last time we ran a HB pass? Must have been that horrific LaMont Jordan play against Baltimore.

On second hand... maybe leave that to teams that aren't the Jets. :D

Saints not looking all that great either. All of a sudden all of the unstoppable offenses (Rams, Chiefs, Saints) look stoppable.

Wow can’t remember seeing a 2 point conversion picked off and returned all the way for 2 pts.

Saints with the Jets play, fumble through the end zone, and it's a touchback!

Newton really isn't a very good quarterback.

2 Freak plays in this game, the Pick 2, and the touch back in the end zone. Saints survive and can seal home field next Sunday.

After tonight I'm starting to wonder if these have been temporary hiccups, or if they all peaked too early/opponents have found their kryptonite. I might need to take a second look at the Chargers and Bears. Their defenses will make all the difference if the mega-offenses won't just drop 40 on them anyway, though the Bears' offense is still a bit too iffy for my liking.

I think the Chargers, Bears, Cowboys, are all capable of reaching championship weekend. It just depends how the seeding lineups. I wouldn't sweat New Orleans, if they lose to Pittsburgh perhaps, but obviously New Orleans has been superb at home and thats the only thing that matters now. This was their 3rd road game against a divisional opponent where two strange plays happened. New Orleans next road game will be the Super Bowl in Atlanta.

And lastly the playoffs look superb this year, the AFC from top to bottom will be interesting, the NFC side to, the only team I don't want to see in it is Minnesota, I have seen enough of them, hopefully Philly and Foles can leap frog them and get in as a wild card.

Cam looks like he lost his mojo. I thought I was watching a Zoloft commercial in the 4th quarter. Hope he's okay. I have a hunch he isn't. His footwork and throwing motion was awful but his body language was even worse.

I really hate that rule. A fumble out of bounds should be treated the same regardless if it's in the end zone. I can agree if it goes out the back of the endzone, but normally fumbling out of bounds you get the ball back from the spot you fumbled it.

I think the offense should get the ball at the 20. So they lose yards but not possession.

I disagree but for selfish reasons. When our Jets got screwed on a play like that, well actually it was even worse, no one gave a shit. The Saints get dinged and all the talking heads are talking about how its "unfair." Since its like a once in 20 year occurrence for a team, I would like to see the rest of the league get screwed on it first before I see it changed. Even better if we can benefit from it sometime
