Saints vs the Falcons this Thursday night. Hope the Saints beat the dirty birds before their game vs the Jets. I prefer not to play a great team on thier home field coming off a road loss.
Then they have Atlanta again the week after the Jets. If the Saints lose it could be a trap game I suppose. I like you're scenario more tho. Get them off a win and a long brake. Especially if the Panthers lose also.
Atlanta had 25 seconds left and two timeouts they complete a pass and don't call a timeout they finally get lined up to snap it with 12 seconds left and the officials stop it to review it they wasted 13 seconds for no reason
they did blow it dead but then they decided to let the clock run anyway since it was snapped pretty sure that's not how it was supposed to work clock was stopped so there's no runoff play is supposed to be blown dead so there is no play should've been another play for NO, marked back 5 yards
they said it'll be explained at halftime but NBC's halftime crew couldn't figure it out either then Collinsworth in the third claims that since it wasn't illegal motion the play ran what? it was BLOWN DEAD by the refs
Ryan two critical INTs when they were in FG range very dumb play by the intercepting DB there to run it out of the endzone return had no chance to get anywhere.
Atlanta won by 3 after Brees threw a death pick and Payton got called for running onto the field. Those 3 points were the three points the incompetent officials cost the Saints at the end of the first half. Another horribly officiated game, and of course, no accountability. There was also a roughing the passer earlier in the game which was absolutely a blown call and a very important one.
Awful pass by Keenum picked off by Carolina. If I'm a Vikings fan I can't help worrying that the Case Keenum magic bubble will burst at any moment.
After Browns twice fail to stop Packers on fourth down their pass defense completely breaks down and they give up a wide open long TD pass. They are so bad.
Looks like there aren't going to be too many kicks in Buffalo, as Vinatieri misses very badly on a FG attempt.
On the one hand, fans are ecstatic that Eli is back (and his benching was a bad call and PR disaster). On the other hand, he's probably not going to play all that well, the team is still trash...I wonder if he gets booed? Awkward. Also not sure why they're wearing white at home.
