So it's my last week of the regular season and it looks as though I may be on the outside looking in, one game back having lost 2 games by a total of 4 points. First year doing this and it was a lot of fun but it really points out how much injuries and general suckiness come into play. So here are my dick suckers for the year: Cordarelle Patterson did absolutely shit this year. Jordan Cameron (or is it Cameron Jordan, I don't give a fuck) did less than nothing this year AND then got hurt. Dick. Reggie Bush sucked and is always hurt. Had one stellar week, one average week and shit the rest of the way. Pussy. AJ Green--and this one hurts the most, he was injured a lot but he had 2 games where he got me ZERO points and one of those games I lost by 1 point and 5 points FF Studs: Peyton Manning Golden Tate DeAndre Hopkins (should have started him from the beginning) Martellus Bennett And Sproles, whilst injured a bit had some GREAT games for me. Honorable mention Late pickups scored me some points-Mike Asiata and Mike Evans (he'll be a top pick next year) Best performance against me was last week, Marshawn Lynch. Like 45 points and I lost by 44. What a game. _
Welcome to Fantasy Football Stokes. Lots of fun but lots of heartbreak. Last week I lost a game even though it was 119-119. Apparently, my bench did poorly compared to my opponents bench. Sadly, I had 4 players on bye. Well, now I am 6-4 and need to win 2 games out of 3 remaining.
It does in ESPN. Sad thing is, fucking Greg Olsen finished the night with 119 yards. If he did 120 yards, I would have won. Still very mad. The prior week I lost by 2 points. Last week I lost by 0 points.
Yep I'm in a very competitive 18 team league, and i tied 80 to 80 last week. This perfectly explains why you should always play with decimal points. If i had 1 more yard from shady, I'd have won 81 80. Lame.
I picked up Riddick since bush is out, but I was thinking Asiata would get a ton of goal line opportunities against chicagos shitty defense. I really need to trade for a solid #2
yep, you have to play with decimal points imo.. if a guy rushes for 89 yds and receives another 49 yards, that should equal 13.8pts instead of just 12pts. makes ties extremely unlikely as well. i also play with individual defensive players and award return yds to players rather than Team D/ST position. been doing that for years now. as someone who loves defense and special teams, i'll never go back. much more fun, and adds a little more skill to a game that is largely based on luck. all that said, i have the 2nd most points in league, but am sitting at 5-6. Have to win next 2 to reach playoffs, and just lost Bradshaw. good times..
So here's my tale of woe. I'm playing David Wright this past week, I win and I make the playoffs, he wins and he makes the playoffs. I'm done by Sunday night but I'm up 53 points. FIFTY THREE POINTS. He has Le'von Bell and Antonio Brown last night. If we just hold them to their averages I win. If one guy goes off but we hold one guy down I win. Bell gets 36 points, Brown gets 24 and he crushes me. Done. _
I just ripped my friend off in this $50 league so badly.. we turned Vetoing off. He sent me Demaryius Thomas and Fred Jackson for Denard Robinson, Jordan Matthews and Andre Johnson.. I definitely gave him depth but DT will be huge and easily worth all 3 I sent. The squad after trade: 10 team standard QB- Cutler RB1-Charles RB2-Lacy WR1- Demaryius Thomas WR2- Julio Jones TE: Olsen/Donnel Flex- Josh Gordon D- Seahawks K- Bailey Bench: Percy, VJax, FJax, Bush and will have to pick up two after the trade and cutting fill in kicker while Bailey was on BYE. I think that trade put me over the edge..I owe my friend a few beers if I end up winning the league.
Yea I remember getting burned by DT in the playoffs two years ago..not to mention the league goes into week 17 when there might not be a whole lot on the line for the Broncos. Matthews and Robinson both have been great but I'm grabbing the #1 WR all day
