Fact: The Johnsons purchased NYJets in 2000 for 635 million

According to Forbes current value is 2,850,000,000!!

Do you any of you have some pride left???

I will not pay for anymore gear shirts hats logos ...tickets??? Ya gotta be kidding..

Almost a five fold return on investment for delivering hot dog Sh&t to the fans..8 years no playoffs and 50 ...no SB Championships

Boycott games and stop feeding a Corporate Beast who cares nothing except about revenue

Yes Toilet and Mac could be gone soon ...but the bigger Dragon to slay are the Mentally Disabled owners whose football incompetence is a horrendous embarrassment..to do that you MUST make the Enterprise LOSE a money

The insult to ALL of us will continue assuming you all keep buying into this

I've banged this drum for awhile ..Mods ..so I know just now there is a a similar thread

I think the ownership wants to win, but it hasn't been able to put together the right coaching staff/and/or GM. I think the players have given up on Bowles, and this season so you are getting shit football. I wouldn.t be at all surpised if they fired Bowles shortly.

Sorry but we lost to Barkley and Osweiler

These 2 will be in Canton some day

    Let’s cut them some slack.

At least 25 other teams "have been able" to do this including the Browns..

This ownership/management are just a bunch of fools conning the fan base

That's why I gave up my season tix last season. This franchise has been a joke for a long time now. I agree that Ownership has to get their heads out of their ass and hire a real football guy to build this thing the right way. Since they may not know where to find that guy (as unbelievable as that sounds) just outsource the whole thing to someone who does.

I think the increase in value of the franchise has a lot to do with the new stadium and the NFL's tv deal.

    But I could be wrong.

He spends all that money on a free agent bust like Trumaine Johnson yet hasn't spent top dollar on a quality experienced GM or head coach in nearly 20 years of team ownership.

Rooting for a ownership change is hopeless. There's a better chance of them spending their money to get quality football people here to run the show.

    That's my hope.

Yep..all we can do is wait and see

My Xmas wish is they sell the team..

I hold out no hope the owners know what they are doing..that's why they won't get a dime from me..Fans should just stay away and at least cause the Johnsons to lose revenue

My understanding is that NFL teams share revenue so they won't lose much if anything.

They could lose PSLs, ticket sales and concessions sales if fans stop going to the games but my understanding is those are chump change in the NFL's grand scheme.

Shared revenues + tv deals = Johnsons get paid no matter what.:(

Well then attack their ego..have no one show up

BTW if it's revenue sharing maybe the other owners will dis infranchise the Jets Owners if we don't pull our share..that makes sense

You understand that there are currently teams that don’t sell out that are MORE embarrassing to NFL owners and THEY aren’t losing their franchises?

    Dude, you’re tilting at windmills.

The Johnson’s aren’t selling and they aren’t going away. Regardless of what the fans do.

You should probably find another pastime.

Well then maybe all the concession sales leave if there are no fans ..(??)

I get your point ..so essentially the best teams are fueling the league revenue i.e. The Pats KC Phil Minny Green Bay Rams etc thru providing the best entertainment week in and out

If you are an owner you buy into a club with a shared revenue stream..the thinking is eventually the perennial winning teams eg Pittsburg New England or in the past Giants give way to up and comers like Cleveland and Philadelphia but since there is sharing no one ever loses ..hhehhe

    Pretty good racket..

maybe it is time for empty seats, planes flying over head, billboards near the stadium., and paper bags over the heads of those few who go to the games out of sheer boredom.
