Speaking of press conferences, Rex had his today. Took another crack at Belichick and the Pats. When asked if if he had an idea on the final roster and battles for the remaining spots.... Rex: Close, Yea I'm close. there are maybe 4 or 5 guys that are still in open competition. Maybe there are 6 there. Barring if somebody comes available, you know if Ed Reed becomes available, he just might make our team. You know....Im gonna get busted for tampering now. Thats why I never mention a New England player. Anyway.....Just had to take another dig, didn't I?

Yes, the Jets (a team with a rookie HC, rookie QB) will look terribly stupid for losing to a team that is constantly predicted to win the Super Bowl because of some joking remarks made by the HC, followed by laughter from the press corps. AYFKM? Rex made a few off-the-cuff remarks and the NY press writes it up as some overt trash talk. Get over it already. Or watch the press conferences for the reality behind the remarks. I can't believe some of the whiny, tail-between-the-legs crap I keep seeing from supposed Jets fans in regards to a press conference like this.
