In some schools that's necessary. When I went to school ,there would be 15-20 guns in cars and trucks in the parking lot all of hunting season. Students and teachers, you would even see a teacher and a student standing by a car holding and talking about a gun during lunch. Nobody would even take a second look at you for it. I don't how we got so far away from that
When I started HS back in 1978 we had metal detectors at the front door so we were the opposite. I can understand in suburbs/rural areas it being quite different, just thought the advertisement was a bit strange with the "Own the school year like a hero".
we've become soft as a society. there's so much ass kissing now a days in school, perhaps schools don't teach discipline, accountability or working hard. participation trophies, we are an entitled society.
Hey, psychopath teenagers contribute to gun sales too. They have to pander to that crowd in an age where gun control is more prevalent. Part of me thinks that sign was photo shopped on the gun case because it seems like they would put that near all the binders, trapper keepers and school supplies rather than the sports section. At least it was probably the intention. Maybe the employees did it on purpose for a laugh.
Really Walmart? That is a sick joke. You would encourage school shootings. That is the least of what we need in this world. In addition to no more terrorism or violence.
