If Thunderbird Jet wins, he would win the award a year after his nemesis won the award. TBJ would win in large part due to his punting thread battles with JetsIn2004.

Three of the people in the poll didn't post enough in 2006 to warrant winning the award, in my opinion.

I like being nominated, but am not sure I would like winning the award. I would be a target for those who don't like me. I don't look forward to a year of being a target and having people baiting me into heated arguments.

statjeff22 might be the best choice because he has the gift of internet gab and very rarely does he post something that lacks substance, even if he is not always correct. I also don't think he would brag if he won this award, as has been the case with past winners of this award.

Yeah, statjeff is probably the best choice. He has my vote.

Actually, I had already requested that my name not appear in the voting. The sniping had already started in the nomination thread. I don't come here and post my training camp reports or the BG threads to win awards or popularity contests. I come hear to have some fun, talk about our Jets with other fans, discuss opinions and generally to relax. I'm not here to be a target or to exchange insults, or to have to defend myself against groundless attacks.

So, again, I ask my name be removed from the voting. I just want to be another TGG'er. Thanks.

Tbird. I think we all realize that you do it out of fun and conversation, and I think most people post here for the same reason. If it's an honor that your peers want to bestow upon you, I would encourage you to take it as a compliment and accept it.

if I didn't get enough nominations it wouldn't bother me but I got enough and in the most annoying thread i had just 3 nominations but there I am as a choice and in biggest troublemaker I got 1 nomination yet I am a choice there.

Junc does have a point. From what I can tell he was nominated 3 times in the nomination thread.

Simple: Remove my name and put junc's in. Problem solved.

Not quite that simple. I already voted for someone else, but definitely would have voted for junc over the posters on that list.

I think this is an example of people caring too much about an award on a message board. I know you don't like being ignored but does it really matter. If you feel you are a good poster then be happy with that. Do you really need the recognition of being on the list?

if this is going to be taken seriously, it should probably be restarted, but whatever.
