Of course they don't. They're too busy spending practice time on the Wildcat. There's only so many hours in the day.
Mezz, you know I respect your posts and how you feel is a personal matter. For me, I wrote this season off when they hired Vick. No way he could teach anything to Geno, b/c he doesn't have it between his ears. Run every time there is any hint of being tackled. Just like Geno, and the stupid wildcat. And MM never seems to try to take advantage of the few players we have. Poor calls O-D-ST. Rex keeps on blitzing on 3rd and long, and all the better QB's just wait for that so they can pick on (and usually succeed) our weak backfield. Because of the teams inferior play I haven't bothered to post . Been here since the Titan days and won't give up. Maybe some day lightening will strike this sad group people. That's everyone from Woody on down.
I really don't even think we practice at all,Rex probably let's the guys go to the movies with Geno instead, either that or they all circle jerk at Idziks house
Idk Long Island, I have a weird feeling that Rex might not go anywhere. I hope the jets get someone else in here but stranger things have happened.
I just want the whole Ryan/Idzik/Bradway Era to end. I want to enjoy football again. I was rooting for Kelce to score on us because he is starting on my fantasy team. Come on Woody, relinquish control please. Please bring in knowledgeable people to run the team and collect just collect your profits.
No way. Not gonna happen. Their GM, David Caldwell, was our first choice last year, but he didn't take the job because of Woodly's prerequisite of having to keep the Great Rex Ryan as HC. Caldwell declined because he couldn't pick his own HC. There's no way he would take Rex after having just drafted Blake Bortles...no way, lol.
I just can't see a scenario where Rex survives this season. I used to think the only way Rex got canned is if he started dating Tila Tequila. I have since reconsidered...
An utter disgrace indeed. The Jets have lost their way, their vision, their resolve, and floundering from top to bottom. Percy was by far the best asset out there, and one of the very few with a sense of urgency and pride. Even our shinning stars of years past are displaying a lack of purpose, confusion, they seem lost out in the field. If you want to paint a perfect picture of a sinking ship with no rudder, no captain, at the mercy of the environment and being swatted about by the smallest of waves we have no further to go than to watch the Jets in action. This team is utterly unprepared, piss poorly coached, beyond weak at some key positions and has no business taking the field in any NFL stadium. Oh how it pains me to say this about Rex, but I totally overestimated his capabilities and his ability to select an adequate staff. This coaching staff from top to bottom has lost absolute control of this team and the lack of preparation is crystal clear on each and every play. As for Idzik, oh what a massive fiasco this year has been. Depth? what a joke, your conservative approach to staffing needs has taking us to a new low in team performance. The saddest part of all, is that they have eroded every inch of confidence from the loyal Jet fan base, and short of loosing the owner along with the FO there is very little hope in the horizon. First draft choice for us - big deal. We will screw it up, unless we find people at leadership positions that for once know what it takes to win in these league.
Kotite lost 12 straight between the Seattle game of 1995 and the Cardinals game in 1996. I am confident Ryan can break this record. The key, of course, is to avoid being fired.
We should order about 20,000 paper bags for the fans who come out at metlife for the game next week, one size fits all and cut your own eye and mouth holes out.If you want to send a message it would be amazing to see every Jet fan in Metlife wearing a paper bag over there heads
