Leadership from the top down, yes Rex included, is a fuckin' joke. From hunger this team. Right there with the Kottite team now. A disgrace how they could fail so badly
How does the defense come out so flat in the first quarter? How does the defense give up points before the half after Vick completes a nine-play touchdown drive. It's the same back breaking pattern every week.
THIS is the kind of s*it you can get on Rex for. They've come out flat and unprepared a number of times this year.
Exactly. Rex is in way over his head. They came out flat in the freaking AFC Championship against Pittsburgh. It's a broken record.
Losing is a process? I'm probably the biggest Rex supporter on here, but even I'm starting to re-evaluate that position. If there's a good HC option out there, and if that guy would keep Rex on as the DC, I'd sign up for that I think.
It's essentially the same team as last year, with additions. Somethin' ain't right. This "closest team ever" stuff blathered about by Rex all off season, and, "You'll get our best shot" stuff has come up real small. We're looking for W's Rex, nothin' else. Anything else is lip service
The franchise is fine? When has this ever been the case? It hasn't been fine since '69. The franchise has never been fine but like idiots me and most of us on the board will keep on rooting for it.
Rex has no clue on anything offense related or clock management. Gotta love his misuse of the timeout again under 3 minutes. Not that it mattered in this game but in a game, that could of mattered. He has no business being a HC and i cant wait till he gets fired and another team hires him to only job he is qualified for, DC. The team is literally painful to watch now. There is no urgency whatsoever and it looks like just a team out there just cashing paychecks with no heart. I would love to someone pissed off out there and not laughing it up.
You people flaming @mezzavo are horrible. He has been one of the most knowledgeable posters on this site since it was made. You can't blame the guy for having more passion for the organization than the team has for itself. I know just how he feels. All my friends are fans of teams that are in the playoffs year in, and year out. I am by far the most passionate fan out of everyone I know, yet I'm the only fucking one stuck with the damn Jets. It's unfair.
I feel ya. Its totally unfair. Been a fan now for about 17 years and not even sniffing a super bowl yet. I feel even more sorry for the fans who have been waiting longer then me. After watching this team this year, it seems like an eternity away that we even get close to the playoffs again. I havent seen a worse Jets team since Kotite...
I've been a fan for 13 years, and this is the worst team I've seen I think. We went 4-12 twice during those years, but it was because Noodle Arm got hurt in those years. It really makes you wonder why you even root for a team that you know in the back of your mind is never going to get it. Then again, the Lions, and Browns are doing good now, so I guess never say never.
